Остаётся открытым вопрос, как же могла произойти такая поломка? Или это создание одной вал-шестерни из двух сломанных, где от каждой взято по уцелевшему сегменту? Ремонт, конечно, декоративный - никаких механических нагрузок и крутящего момента эта художественная композиция не выдержит. Но смотреть было интересно)))
It is really really strange, the surfaces at the points of breakage were super clean and flat...nevertheless, I would like to state my thoughts on this repair: This is a massive shaft. It obviously transfers a lot of torque. This torque is "flowing" from the meshed teeth to the material of the gear with the same diameter as the diameter of the shaft.
Since the gear broke in half, only the half with a solid connection to the shaft will be able to transmit torque. The pins that wedged the pieces together will not be able to survive that power transfer. The same applies to the weld beads. I also don't understand the use of center bolt.
I hope i am proven wrong by these technicians, though 😊

The threaded stud in center is not needed and the surface weld will not last longer, he should drill deep Grooves and then weld.
It’s just for filming TH-cam videos. I don’t think an actual client had them do this

This was obviously done as a demo. No gear could possibly fail like that and usually these operators are wearing flip flops. The lathe operator is wearing black patent leather dress shoes. Haven't figured out the purpose of the large threaded rod.

@joeylawn36111 the (Vertical)bandsaw blade broke shortly after starting the cut(wide kerf and chatter), then a new one fitted to complete the through cut.....
Do welling of broken precision components js as old as time itself - these guys have been doing a LOT of this fakery recently, as economic tunes in Pakistan Post coup are terrible(no amount of dodgy ammo manufacturing for Ukraine at the behest of their paymasters can help)!

je n'est jamais vue cassé un pignon de cette chose mais bon chez vous sa doit arrivé n'importe quoi du moment que vous été fier de vos réparations miracle qui je ne pense pas que cela tienne bien longtemps
quand vous positionné une pièce sur une machine outils comme c'est le ka de la perceuse a colonne c'est pas un niveau a bulle qui faut utilisé mais au moins une équerre espèce de chaoui

Pessimo lavoro, oppure buon lavoro di lucidatura, ma non dura mezz'ora di lavoro, chiaramente è stato tagliato con una lama, non è stato tenuto in considerazione lo spessore della lama e quindi hanno dovuto tornirlo in esterno variando il diametro, in più l'albero lavora con metà sezione, non sono quelle due saldature che hanno fatto che gli danno la resistenza meccanica, non è una vera riparazione
