nice one. definitely hard to pick a winner without a specific task. in terms of the slice though.. that new flat grind Demko is a nonstop killer for me in this bunch. Now if i just need to jab or poke something...... 😅👊🍻🔪
Hogue tends to do better with magnaslut than most of the other mass producers (even if not optimized). I love the full flat grind of that AD-20S. My personal rank on these from an EDC front would be AD20, Mac2, MK3.✌️
3 cool knives from makers I own no knives from. I think out of those 3, the one I'm most interested in is LG. The VECP is a sweet looking knife that I really want to get my hands on. Especially one with some of the more interesting scale designs, like the 'morph' version. The Mac2 is also nice, either in frag or fastback for me, with a Lynch clip probably. Still not sure about the blade being so tall and the upturn in the blade to the point being so abrupt. It feels like 'stabby' than most of the drop points I own. Guess you gotta just try it on for size and see how it fits in the real world.
hell yea, sweet trifecta man. i got that same ad20s a couple weeks ago, slightly dif digi pattern though. thing feels amazing in the hand, been carrying the heck outta it. had a couple 20.5s but the big boy in magnacut is king. the mcnees is very nice, but i doubt i would drop the cash on one. however, damn that les george is sexy. might have to pick one up at some point. i just picked up a hinderer xm18 3.5 the other day. never thought i would, thought they were a meme knife. didn't like it at first, but after breaking it in a couple days i f'n love the thing. i think the skinner blade has something to do with it too lol
It doesn't mean anything anymore, but it was never a price specific thing. It was when a custom maker would take the steps necessary to release one of their designs on a larger scale, usually at a lower price (but not necessarily always). It mostly just meant farming out components that they otherwise would have made themselves. On this timeline where Bestech is happy to produce every terrible design a TH-camr draws on a napkin, it's either not a thing anymore, or it's everything now depending on how cynical you feel like being.
@@CNYKnifeNut I think we need a new knife category: TH-cam Knife. Because that garbage is literally everywhere now. It's either crowdfunded, which is sketchy enough, or under China's thumb.
Love my Demko AD20
They're definitely good
That mk3 is awesome! Mine is smooth as f...!
Yes they smooth out really nicely

The mac 2 is actually their "spearpoint " version, they have a drop point that's more of a standard issue form them.
@@chucknunface Oh right, I remember you pointing that out in another video. I can't even tell 😆

The xm 18 is legit. The 20.5 didn't cut it for me but I dig the 20s
The digital camo is the way to go if you can't get full ti
I've always understood midtech as referring primarily to a price range.

I don't thinknit was ever a price thing, although price may have been a factor in the offering.
I desperately need an ad20
You might. This version of the 20s is 👌🏽
