Thats actually sick, it makes pefect sense too. Regular birdshot won't pierce those metal walls at all and noise pollution is reduced massively so this could be built almost anywhere.
Is this building just used for practice ? The shotkam just use for practice or for Tournament also and how good can you see the X to follow the target.
The MSZU is a nice shooting range and gun store. Prices are pretty high, but the collection of guns is outstanding and the different ranges are awesome.
I have seen other videos of people shooting here, but you guys gave a great sense of scale and showcased the targets very well. Awesome place. I’ll take one too JC. Oh and David, you did not call you bank shot. Lol
This must be epic in person. That noise of the cartridge sounds like thunder!!! This in the UK would be epic. So so many possibilities for a controlled layout!
I've had the privilege of shooting sporting clays inside an old building before. It wasn't quite as geared up as this, but still good fun! What engraving is on Ed's gun? And I agree with everyone else - Ed & Johnny make a fantastic combo. I'll definitely have to make a plan to meet Johnny at least next year when I'm in the UK again...
As a german hunter living in the south MSZU is a nice place for checking out new guns and also buy some other stuff you need. Most german gun shops are muuuuuuch smaller and have less than 10% of the collections. Dick knife -> this is a famous local factory for knifes and most of the butchers here are using their stuff. They have sharpeners, files, ... too but the butcher knifes is a musthave
Living 30 minutes away from this place ;-) And I'm there several times a year. Shooting clays and shooting my rifles in the shooting-cinemas (you should check this out, too). The place was build by a well known drugstore chain owner who is a hunter himself. And he realized the lack of a shooting range nearby his house (it's only some minutes to the place he lives) ;-) Thank you, Mr. Müller ;-)
Curious about what ammunition is used/allowed on this indoor facility. I imagine there is a shot size and velocity limitation. Is there a lead use restriction?
@@TurinTuramberyeah steel shot would be terrible indoors. It bounces whereas lead smashes and deforms, duping it's energy into whatever it hits vs bouncing off of it. Lots of steel in this building so shooting steel with steel would bean issue
Brilliant video and what a fantastic place 👍🏼 some of those breaks where dust 💨 considering the gun couldn’t have been more the wrong shape for Mr Carter as for Ed we all know he can shoot a broom handle and make it look good and has done on previous occasions thanks to Johnny 😛 well done everyone 👏🏻
An indoor facility such as this in an Urban environment would be a great way to promote the sport and get people into shooting. Come on CPSA let’s get something similar.
I was fortunate enough to shoot a facility like this with Blaser about 10 years ago. Might even have been this very one. How many can there be? As an American, it was a surreal experience to shoot indoors. Very cool though. I was also surprised by the comprehensive retail side of the store. LOL, your comments about size in relation to an American store cracked me up.
Great place! A little unfair they didnt have a right hander for you! I wonder how often they have to reskin the walls? And what do they do with the broken clays? Great video - really enjoyed it
I just came across this video, not sure of the gentleman’s name but he is wearing the green polo while shooting. This place looks incredible but I really wished he kept his finger off the trigger when he wasn’t shooting (and yes I do understand that clearly the action was open and it was unloaded)
Anybody else miss the days before out of control regulation when mom and pa could invest in a couple throwers set them up in the back forty, charge a couple bucks and make it a place to socialize for the average working man after work? They may have even made a few dollars selling inexpensive ammunition on the side that helped pay some of their property taxes. Mostly it was just a nice thing to have a fun place you could share with your group of friends and meet knew ones while having a bit of sport. Had a half dozen different ones within easy driving distance that a 20 something could afford to do every Thursday afternoon. All gone now. Done in by one regulation or another here in California. 😞
Chocking your loss up to “gun fit” isn’t a thing my man. Lead target, pull trigger. The perfect feel of the gun isn’t imperative for making a good shot. Applying the basics for shooting is what makes the shot. I’ll outshoot people with their own allot of the time. Sooo….don’t make excuses for poor shots.
I disagree massively. In theory if your eye is in the same place in relation to the rib then yeah you’d have thought the shots would look the same. But I havnt found that to be true. Besides an incorrect gun fit can change other factors that will affect your shooting such as positioning of your upper body. You can definitely learn to shoot a gun that doesn’t fit however to say gun fit doesn’t affect your shooting is utterly false. Not to say you need a perfect fit to shoot well however having a dramatically wrong fit will certainly hinder you

The walls are also protected with a curtain so usually nothing hits the walls
Knowing places like this exist makes my soul happy!!
This place with glow in the dark clays!!!!
Yep. Turn out the regular lights and turn on the blacklists. Would be like moonlight bowl8ng but with fast moving shotgunning.
Absolutely!!!
Well said, "The cathedral of shooting". I'm enjoying you channel more and more, and I think you're getting better all the time.
Id love to have something like this in the UK, perfect for those rainy days where you still want to shoot.
You aren't made of sugar! Get out there :)
@@TurinTuramber I'm far too bitter to be made out of sugar 😂

Diamond Shooting Range in Diamond, Illinois, USA has an indoor trap range.
New location added to the bucket list to visit. How awesome! I can imagine range time isn't cheap though!
the best part of this video is that 2 mates are having a hell of a day and a camera just happens to be there

😂😂love this video Ed's as dry as a nuns fanny, Ed +Johnny = pure entertainment QUALITY 👏👏
Ed and Johnny, what a lot of fun to watch. That was a FANTASTIC video mate, well done. I enjoyed that a lot.

Greetings from BC, Canada. At 1m 25s that Winchester SXP is my go to backpack camping bear/wolf defence shotgun. Great slug and OObuck gun
Wow what a place to visit , need more of these places

I think I may have been there the first time with Ed almost 15 years ago. And yeah, the store is legit.
Amazing facility. Great video Jonny !!! Thanks
does anyone know what exact pair of glasses the taller gentleman was wearing? the purple lensed pair to clarify.
Curious about what ammunition is used/allowed on this indoor facility. I imagine there is a shot size and velocity limitation. Is there a lead use restriction?
It's easy to minimize lead issues with proper ventilation and regular cleaning/sweeping
Just make it steel only. Level the playing field.
Steel tends to bounce around indoors.

@@eduffy4937 Easily negated if ricochet was ever a problem. Would be easy to clean up the shot with a magnetic collector.
Whenever Johnny posts a video, I press like first and then watch the video
Great video ! I would love one of these in the colder months.
Heating it must cost a fortune. Even with radiant heat, that's still a lot of gas or electricity.
TSG is the best, I'm a big fan of this channel.

There is an indoor shotgun range in Illinois USA too
Great place! A little unfair they didnt have a right hander for you! I wonder how often they have to reskin the walls? And what do they do with the broken clays? Great video - really enjoyed it
Tell me Jonny, what is the padding on the walls of the indoor shotgun range?
enjoyed that is that edds gun ? insane comb height
Encourages shooting outside 45 degrees, hard habit to break. Is there a range for patterning?
That looks unreal! Can you just go and do it or is it specifically for people who are having a kreighoff gun fit done?
Great video, what have they got or using for the inside wall?
Fantastic looking place, You and Ed had a lot of fun, Friday 15th march the euro lottery is a 110 million you never know 👍.
For olympic trap what shells are allowed ?
So your getting a kreighoff 😍 awesome videos as usual and what a place
kinda looks like the place at Diamond, IL USA. Never been there but eager to try it.
Live 5 minutes away from the one in diamond Il the business is a class act owners are great
JC getting a K Gun? 🤔 come on, you know you want to ❤️ great vid guys as always
You should come hunt chukar on Mauna Kea if you haven’t already. It’s a lot of fun.
That’s sounds epic
If only we had something like this state side because it would be cool especially in the winter.
I thought the same except I thought especially in summer ( I live in Texas)
my favorite gun store i visit it once a year love to see you enjoing it
This looks interesting I suppose, but how does the logistics work? Only one shooter at a time? That doesn’t seem very efficient.
Wish we had one close to Houston Texas
“As opposed to home invaders…” underrated joke, didn’t catch it the first time
The last time I watched a video about this place they said you had to use steel shot. Is that still true? 14:05
Is this just for Krieghof or any make please? Cheers Russ
Any make!
Where is this?? I need to try this! Bucketlist🙏👍
Top stuff guys 👍
More videos like this please.
I want one also. That's just too cool.
Great set up , How does it cope with lead residue from the shot and primers ?. It must be a highly toxic environment .

Wow That's Great 👌👌Would be good if we had something the same here!!
Do you two ever let your gun valets (cleaners) in a bit of the video? Good video!
Hi, can anybody tell me what is exact type of the gun they use! I see kriegghof but which type is it? Thank you very much in advance
A visit in the not too distance future? Is that a hint at Jonny’s new gun 👀
Very cool.
Would be great for 'StarShot'!
How is the noise level on this indoor shooting range?
what?
MSZU in Ulm 👌🏻 Owned by the drugstore chain Müller.
Love your videos
Think I would much prefer to be outside.😅
A W E S O M E ❗
I must visit that one day!

Como es posible que 2 hombres de tan distinta altura tiren con la misma escopeta.
I'd have liked you poking around the shop longer... But I guess that's only a good video to me ha.
I bet regular shooters there have a high BLL.
Last time I tried indoor shooting I got three years ...
👍 👍 💯
£30 million? I reckon you can crowdfund that!
We can try…
I think I'm going to try something new at our badminton hall, when no one is around 👹
What every man needs.
Disney!
Might as well load your gun with silver dollars.
We let them shoot shotguns at my indoor range, just no black powder.
Trigger discipline not to be found
Dick knives scare me.
Why do people need to have such attitude…? Maybe they try to be cool. 😂😂😂
Why do you always put Americans down.
