The 1, 2 punch set up from last episode to this one is so fire to me, I dunno why. Like it wasn't anything crazy plot wise but last episode could be seen as something not too important in the grand scheme of things but when pair with this on, it take on a much bigger mean and I just love that. So here's Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood episode 12 (1x12) reaction hope yall enjoy the continuation of our anime journey.

this episode: "ohh...the baby..."
15:50 The mangka is a woman, Hiromu Arakawa. Truly one of the GOATs.
Fun fact: She grew up on a cow farm, which is why there is so much milk propaganda in this show
milk propaganda is a good way to put it lmao
It's also why there are so many women in the Amestrian military, since she was used to being in an environment where you couldn't afford to eliminate half your work force over such a petty thing as gender.
@@Vael221 im sorry but when it comes to something like military combat, gender isnt really a "petty" difference...its literally life or death when a soldier cant hack it physically...
And youre pretty sexist if you think women cant "hack it" as soldiers @Xarazel
They cut it out in this version, but in the manga and 2003 series, there was a masked man on the island who’d constantly attack the Elrics. Later it was revealed that he was actually sent by Izumi to train them and to make sure they didn’t die
@@rjai5003 that would of been cool to see a lingering mystery like that but I can see why it was cut. Probably too much of a pace break if they were trying to get this all wrapped in one episode.
Aege: I need a break from heavy hitters so hopefully there's nothing too emotional in this episode
The episode: pure, raw emotional anguish
Damm, they got my boy again
You're picking up on things a lot faster than most people I've seen react to this show.
She was never mad at them. She could never *be* mad at them. 😭 My babiesssss
This is one of my top favorite shows of all time - not just in anime but in all television.
Izumi's tattoo is also the same symbol as on the back of Ed's jacket. It's called a Flamel, named after the alchemist Nicolas Flamel (yes, this was a man who did actually exist, Harry Potter did not make him up).
So idk why this adaptation of the anime cut it but, the boys weren't *actually* alone on that island. The Curtis's assistant was also left there to watch over them and make sure they didn't die (tho Izumi didn't tell the boys lmao).
Everybody needs to hear those words from Izumi.
Glad to have you back aege! remember to drink plenty of water and do what makes u happy, enjoy life ya know! Enjoyed the stream the other day
I love watching people watch this show. Cause it’s so fun to see people fall in love with it the way I have.
One of my absolute favorite easily missed details is Izumi sharpening the knife by hand. She could so easily use alchemy to make the edge an atoms width....but she understands the reality of it, how everyone else would do it without alchemy, how anyone else would HAVE TO do it. And so she chooses to do it the same as everyone else, because all things are connected.
It also has to do with her line "Take pride in the lives you were given", Even though she could do most anything in the blink of an eye with Alchemy, she chooses to fully participate normal human activities because as much of a grind and inconvenience it is, THAT is living as a human.
@lightningg252 yeup! Spectacular continuation, thankyou
This is easily one of my favorite episodes in this entire show
This episode has always been one of my favourites, especially the whole "One is all, all is one" part. Definitely top 10. Looking forward to every episode, we're really getting into it now.

I don’t know if anybody’s told you since then, but just in case, it’s writer-woman. Her name is Hiromi Arakawa (pen name Hiromu) and she is one of my all time favorite authors for manga. (Her slice of life manga, “Silver Spoon” is very funny, and nowhere near as traumatic as FMA.)
I’m so very glad to share in the wonderfully cathartic heartache of this episode.🥲
Silver Spoon is underrated and I wish it got more love.
"It's okay to hurt" gets me every time
Yeah, the hits just keeeeep on comin'...lol
MY MAN!!!! You always make my day when you post. Great to see you!
Been waiting on this! There's only more emotional hits in store 🎉
yep, shit gets me every time 😭
I need like aege to drop like 2 episode a day I’m inpatient.
no, impatient is what you are when u cant wait. INPATIENT is when you are checked in full time to a mental hospital haha. I figure u mean the first
@@Carcin00gen maybe they did mean inpatient and these videos are how they pass the time in the hospital bed :p
it's here!!!!
Do you plan on watching season 2 and 3 of Invincible? Would love to see your reaction of them.
