    I was nauseous before I even got a positive test. I eagerly waited for well 12-14. If I could just make it to that point.... Week 14 came and went and I didn't feel any better. Finally, halfway through my pregnancy I feel better but I'm not experiencing this amazing energy boost that everyone says you have in the 2nd trimester. I don't like being pregnant. I'm excited to meet my baby and I love feeling the movement but I hate being pregnant!

    I am on my 14th week and I throw up 24*7, food smells, throat is sore all the time, skin rashes and dryness, dizziness, muscle cramp. I am not enjoying this journey at all; I ask myself “am I a bad mom to be , don’t I love my baby ? Can this baby feel that I am frustrated, ….” Thank you for sharing this . I need to hear this very badly.

    Women who experience this terrible nausea/weakness are amazing heroes. My sister-in-law is one; she is having her FOURTH baby. I don't know if I would go on to have more than one of I had to go through such a thing.

    Wow the prayers on the way to work.. that really hit me. I’d never be so brave as to be honest about those thoughts. My own head is defensive about how I could love all my children, want the best for them, and hate being a mother all at once .

    "You're in your pj's today, what're we watching?" 😭 Thank you for sharing the other side. I too find comfort in hearing and learning from women before me. I can do this. 😚

    I don't have HG, but I still have pretty severe nausea, and what upsets me most is that in spite of knowing this, everyone's concern is "What have you eaten today" because you have to eat more for the baby. As if I'm deliberately throwing up to starve the baby.

    • @mariabrorsson3712
      @mariabrorsson3712 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Danielle Pereira that's because ppl don't understand. On so many levels. It is not that easy to starve an established pregnancy, the placenta will literally eat from you before any harm is done to the baby. Just trust the doctors that they will help you if you need fluids. You will get through this.

    • @lindsaywilliams7125
      @lindsaywilliams7125 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Same. My mom would always stare at me when ate. Everyone was always concerned that the baby was not eating enough when really its the mom everyone should be worried about.

    I so needed this I too have this and it's been so horrible that it has me sometimes questioning if I really wanted to keep going on with this and then I'd feel guilty because this pregnancy wasn't an accident or a surprise so how could I feel this way but unless you know what it's like to throw up until your throat bleeds you don't know what it's like

    • @zharawillywonka4438
      @zharawillywonka4438 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dorothy Crispin hey it's your body. don't feel guilty. And if you are getting so sick that your throat bleeds, then do what you feel. there can always be another baby, or another pregnancy. even then, family doesn't end in blood. also see your doctor. tears in the esophagus are very dangerous. especially when they're happening often.

    Thank you, people need to be aware of how this affects pregnant women & the impact is on on their emotional, physical & mental wellbeing. Their relationship with their bump & their families. It's no fun waking up to be sick & continue been sick for the rest of the day/evening, not been able to eat, drink go out & about because you were at the mercy of the toilet bowl, if you were lucky enough to get there in time. The dark times in pregnancy need to be talked about too & it's impact it has on women & their wellbeing. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

    I can relate , I'm pregnant and i get sick everyday .I'm in my pjs all day and not wanting to get off the bed because tbh, this pregnancy is making me depressed and also.... *sigh * I didn't plan this preganancy my husband wants me pregnant. i want to end this agony that's consuming my energy everyday . i feel stuck, imprisoned on this unwanted pregnancy. I don't know what else to do but hope for a miscarriage. I know people won't like this , but it's true . I'm the one going through pregnancy not my husband. he won't understand how miserable I am . I'm sick and tired being in bed

      you deserve to not be pregnant if you don't want to be. i am so sorry that your husband is trying to control your body this way. you do not owe him ANYTHING. if the pregnancy was not planned it shouldn't happen. you can always have another child in due time. just know that ending it is an option, as long as you won't be threatened with violence, mental or physical. i am so so sorry.

    A friend of mine had it too, threw up every day. She was losing weight instead of putting some on during pregnancy. Had to be hospitalizes several times during the nine months. It was terrible for her, but now they have a strong, beautiful daughter :-).

    • @angko-pe
      @angko-pe 8 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Be there for her, give her a clean towel to lay on in front of the toilet, help her brush her hair, clean the house, pick up all the messes that she's bound to stare at all day as she lays on the sofa. Listen to her, let her cry. Don't invite friends over, don't make plans for her and most importantly stand up for her when people say "oh it's just pregnancy".

      Jason Washington After vomiting a cold drink always helps. And ices teas and waters are good for staying cool, and washing out bad tastes. they also taste good and feel like a treat.And after she's done, kneck, back, and feet massages
