WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL DID I SEE NOW!!!???? I WOULD APPRECIATE THIS CAUSE I NEVER SAW EVEN GOOGLE MAKING SUCH EYE CATCHING VIDEOS.. U REALLY MADE ME STOP AND WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO... YOU GONNA GET SUCCESSFUL SOON.... YOU HAVE MY SUPPORT EVEN IF NONE IS THERE FOR U!
This TH-cam concept is great. Send this to Google via email and ask them whether this function could be integrated in the future. I'm sure they'll like your concept
Features I want/need: 1. *Sort by Duration and Filter by Duration* - It would make it so easier to find videos. - When going to the videos tab, I want it to be sortable by duration (longest to shortest and shortest to longest). - Filters like "less than {duration}", "more than {duration}" and "between ... and ..." would be so useful. - Useful for finding videos that are unusually longer or shorter than typical uploads of the creator 2. *Find videos by colors involved in the thumbnail* - Users can select color names or use a color picker. TH-cam will try to find thumbnails that involve similar colors. This can be useful when one remembers a thumbnail (perhaps an intriguing one) but not the title. - This can also be useful if a thumbnail uses uncommon/different colors within a search or a channel.
Another thing I think would be nice to add to TH-cam is a block button. It would help many people who want to moderate their channels without any bots or haters bothering them. Can't wait to see what you post next as a concept!
I usually hate these concept videos, because more often than not. They are terrible. But I must admit. This is actually amaazing. It would be a game-changer if TH-cam actually did something like this, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
I adore the new mobile UI, feels weird that one of their flagship services don't have its UI updated with Material You. I also like the search features and Gemini integration
What would be really cool is if you could have something like sections on your channel for each type of content instead of having to create multiple channels. And when people subscribe to a certain channel, they can choose which sections they want to be subscribed to, so they will only see content from those sections in the subscriptions feed. The number of subscribers would either be the total number of people who are subscribed to at least one section or numbers of subscriptions from sections combined.
i usually dont comment on these types of videos but this is genuinely one if not the best "fake redesign/revamp" video i have ever watched not only is the overall quality very high but the concepts featured are amazing and very smart keep up the good work !! :)
The DMs feature sounds like a disaster waiting to happen...allowing creators to directly message their viewers sounds like it'd lead to a lot of potential court cases
They used to have DMs, then they got rid of them, then brought them back, then got rid of them again. I think they even reintroduced them a third time and then did the same thing.
@@ConceptCentral that’s fair, but having it built into TH-cam would allow creators to take advantage of viewers who aren’t on those platforms-which imo is far more dangerous because way more kids are on TH-cam than on Twitter/IG don’t get me wrong, I do think direct messages would be super cool (i really enjoyed your video), but the thought of a TH-cam channel being to reach out to any random subscriber _via the channel itself_ is kinda terrifying
This is the only concept channel I IMMEDIATELY click on when a new video drops. by far THE best, most realistic concept work on TH-cam. You kill it with quality every time man. I can't imagine the sweat, tears and time that goes into each of these lol. Absurdly well done. Separate note, here's my ramble on the concept itself: Funny enough, this is the first concept from CC I've hoped NOT to see come true. I love the direct messages and dislikes return, but everything else is exactly what I hope YT avoids. - Mixing shorts into regular video spaces on the home page (and likely everywhere else) is my nightmare lol. I love having them on separate rows, and it feels like we've come so far over the years to convince YT to separate them as much as possible. - The Gemini Ai feature could be neat, but the tech still seems underdeveloped for implementation and I'm gonna lose it if another site replaces a search bar with the rainbow neon "ai" bar lol. - I'm not sure how verification for fact checking works on other platforms, but I think that's a VERY slippery slope in today's crazy day and age. It could be amazing for blatantly dishonest channels that constantly clickbait with misinformation (specifically SO many medium sized tech news outlets that just lie about leaks and rumors), but there's way too much room for incorrect corrections. I can imagine countless timestamps on videos being corrected by viewers with "false facts" in some way or another, and I'm confident people would abuse it to interject their opinions to dispute creators they disagree with, ya know? It did feel pretty accurate to something we'd see, I just hope it isn't personally. Again, you freaking crushed this whole thing my guy!
Woah can't believe you took the time to write this all up! Really appreciate the kind words and support. Here's just a few notes on what you pointed out in case you'd find them interesting: -Definitely understand not wanting shorts on the home page because yeah same. Fwiw, in this concept you'd be able to tell Gemini to get all the Shorts off your home page and whatever other types of content you don't want to see. Maybe you could just tell it to only show you longform videos and revert it back to how YT's home page is currently lol -Also agree about AI updates being overbearing on most sites these days, that's why I wanted to make it a little unintrusive button next to the search bar that you never have to use if you don't want to, and only expands if you click on it. It replaces the circular voice dictation button we have now which I personally never use -The video notes feature in this video was inspired by one of twitter's only features that I actually like, community notes. Twitter users are able to suggest corrections to tweets and offer supporting sources and then other users can vote on proposed notes. I see misinformation tweets get community noted *constantly* and I haven't once seen a note that was in bad faith since all the unhelpful notes get voted out Anyways thanks again for the support! Always grateful for when people are able to appreciate the time and effort that goes into my work ❤
@@ConceptCentral Ahhh gotcha gotcha, all great points man. warms me up to them when explained like that. Appreciate the response! I didn't catch onto the Gemini feature only popping up when you click the icon replacing the mic button, nice. I've never thought of ai being used to customize appearance the way settings options typically would, so I'd be down for that IF the changes stuck for future visits when specified. I have a gut feeling YT would make you retype those instructions to remove types of media from your home page every time you opened the site lol. Can you imagine 😂 but otherwise I'd be sold on that. I don't use twitter, so I'm surprised to hear that feature works well, but I'll take your word for it. It'd be such a dope thing if it works effectively!
@@papermelon Def on me for not showcasing these aspects of the features clearly enough in the video so thanks again for pointing them out. Always great to know what could be improved next time
- "direct messages" it's a disaster waiting to happen. There are obvious reasons why... (especially with the high ratio of kids on the platform) - shorts on home page it's a crime that you can't completely disable them (even as premium user) especially now that they announced ai video generation tools officially from youtube for shorts. It's gonna be an incredible circle of ai slop feeding from each other... - "I'm not sure how verification for fact checking works on other platforms" While many people think that Twitter community notes are for fact checking, it's only part of that it was marketed for (and lots of stupid twitter users apparently thinking "context you *might* want to know" = "fact check"). It's mainly for "Readers added context they thought people might want to know" (which, to be fair, is in many situations used for fact checking), but it's the same as with Wikipedia. It can be used for many things, such as fact checking, warning users from scams, tricks, bait posts, obvious lies, warning users about a wrong automated kr->en translation by twitter which shows the n word instead of "black" as a reference to hair color of his Asian baby (this really happened), etc. Just like Wikipedia, it really is just some anonymous people writing some stuff with citations that might help you with starting your research, or just completely ignoring the post and continue scrolling.
Oo. Seems like I've got better ideas: 1. Searching videos across playlists 2. Searching videos by: - Text on thumbnail - Elements, objects and icons on thumbnail - Colors on thumbnail
I just wanted notification categories on desktop like in the mobile app (all, comments, mentions) And more categories like comment likes, comment replies, channel uploads, channel posts, and livestreams
1:06 yo! really nice concept btw, video notes are a great idea, and I’m intrigued by the implications of having a way to talk directly to the algorithm. on a basic level it offers the same functionality (to the user at least) of liking/disliking something, but maybe it would make sense to give more weight to a similar feedback, even if it’s merely because it requires a more direct involvement than just tapping a button, it’s a cool idea to explore probably your best concept yet

Thanks for the support! ❤
@@ConceptCentralYou cooked everything!!!
I Swear I thought this was official! TH-cam need to add all these Features RIGHT NOW!
Expectation:
Reality: Pay us to use YT, you still have to watch 10 minute unskipable ads
sadly true...
_i hope not_
This is literally the best concept I have ever seen
Completely unbiased opinion too huh

0:15 ain’t no way yall hating on this beautiful ipad
It just looks like a pc
WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL DID I SEE NOW!!!???? I WOULD APPRECIATE THIS CAUSE I NEVER SAW EVEN GOOGLE MAKING SUCH EYE CATCHING VIDEOS.. U REALLY MADE ME STOP AND WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO... YOU GONNA GET SUCCESSFUL SOON.... YOU HAVE MY SUPPORT EVEN IF NONE IS THERE FOR U!
Bro predicted Magenta TH-cam Logo !
Bro the details are insane 🤯 Also TH-cam DMs would be a dream
My dream was YT Music in TH-cam rather than separate. 😅
@@VedavyasRSI want google play music back cus yt music is kinda just glorified google play music
i was so hyped for this until i saw it was a concept, damn but you did a great job would actully love and use each and every function you showed
Being able to change your own algorithm would be insane. Now I genuinely do really want that feature.
This TH-cam concept is great. Send this to Google via email and ask them whether this function could be integrated in the future. I'm sure they'll like your concept
I want every feature from this video! Every single one!!!
me too
agree
Now understand that TH-cam, even in a few years, will not be better than this concept
DAMN, WHAT A CONCEPT! TRULY EXCEEDED MY EPECTATIONS. IT LITERALLY FEELS LIKE GOOGLE ACTUALLY MADE THIS. Concept Central, this is a marvelous concept.
Google: write that down!!!
hai hai
Features I want/need:
1. *Sort by Duration and Filter by Duration*
- It would make it so easier to find videos.
- When going to the videos tab, I want it to be sortable by duration (longest to shortest and shortest to longest).
- Filters like "less than {duration}", "more than {duration}" and "between ... and ..." would be so useful.
- Useful for finding videos that are unusually longer or shorter than typical uploads of the creator
2. *Find videos by colors involved in the thumbnail*
- Users can select color names or use a color picker. TH-cam will try to find thumbnails that involve similar colors. This can be useful when one remembers a thumbnail (perhaps an intriguing one) but not the title.
- This can also be useful if a thumbnail uses uncommon/different colors within a search or a channel.
And searching for stuff, not just by the titles but being able to search for things by writing the description if you don’t know what the title is.
I think it's useless to search videos by color. Why. Don't you watch videos based on topics you like? The algorithm works very well.
I do remember TH-cam having the color search feature at one point..
Another thing I think would be nice to add to TH-cam is a block button. It would help many people who want to moderate their channels without any bots or haters bothering them. Can't wait to see what you post next as a concept!
what is this???? a whole redesign concept with designs and editings! there whole work here
Wow, I actually kinda love this! The changes really add something fresh! 👏✨
1:24 looks like Roblox
I usually hate these concept videos, because more often than not. They are terrible. But I must admit. This is actually amaazing. It would be a game-changer if TH-cam actually did something like this, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
YOU have the post tabe on the side is crazy
HI I LOVE YOUR ANIMATIONS SO MUCH
The most realistic TH-cam Design , and the best one
Bro said "I don't like the youtube now, lemme fix it rq"
I adore the new mobile UI, feels weird that one of their flagship services don't have its UI updated with Material You. I also like the search features and Gemini integration
And it's aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllll magenta!
Bro had a vision with the magenta theme 💀
1:31 Please make this man the CEO of TH-cam ... And every other platform
"because they're useful and shouldn't have been removed" 🤣
What would be really cool is if you could have something like sections on your channel for each type of content instead of having to create multiple channels. And when people subscribe to a certain channel, they can choose which sections they want to be subscribed to, so they will only see content from those sections in the subscriptions feed.
The number of subscribers would either be the total number of people who are subscribed to at least one section or numbers of subscriptions from sections combined.
That's awesome, TH-cam should definitely add these features! ❤
i usually dont comment on these types of videos but this is genuinely one if not the best "fake redesign/revamp" video i have ever watched
not only is the overall quality very high but the concepts featured are amazing and very smart
keep up the good work !!
It's not like creators don't already have access to DMing their fans on platforms like Twitter and IG
@@ConceptCentral that’s fair, but having it built into TH-cam would allow creators to take advantage of viewers who aren’t on those platforms-which imo is far more dangerous because way more kids are on TH-cam than on Twitter/IG
don’t get me wrong, I do think direct messages would be super cool (i really enjoyed your video), but the thought of a TH-cam channel being to reach out to any random subscriber _via the channel itself_ is kinda terrifying
Gemini is already in youtube for the “topics feature” and ask about this video (beta)
Thats not TH-cam anymore, thats Ourtube.
Here's just a few notes on what you pointed out in case you'd find them interesting:
-Definitely understand not wanting shorts on the home page because yeah same. Fwiw, in this concept you'd be able to tell Gemini to get all the Shorts off your home page and whatever other types of content you don't want to see. Maybe you could just tell it to only show you longform videos and revert it back to how YT's home page is currently lol
-Also agree about AI updates being overbearing on most sites these days, that's why I wanted to make it a little unintrusive button next to the search bar that you never have to use if you don't want to, and only expands if you click on it. It replaces the circular voice dictation button we have now which I personally never use
-The video notes feature in this video was inspired by one of twitter's only features that I actually like, community notes. Twitter users are able to suggest corrections to tweets and offer supporting sources and then other users can vote on proposed notes. I see misinformation tweets get community noted *constantly* and I haven't once seen a note that was in bad faith since all the unhelpful notes get voted out
Anyways thanks again for the support!
Always great to know what could be improved next time
@@ConceptCentral hey you killed it fam, I wasn’t paying close enough attention and that’s on me. Looking forward to your next drop in 6 months! 😂
- "direct messages"
it's a disaster waiting to happen. There are obvious reasons why... (especially with the high ratio of kids on the platform)
- shorts on home page
it's a crime that you can't completely disable them (even as premium user)
especially now that they announced ai video generation tools officially from youtube for shorts. It's gonna be an incredible circle of ai slop feeding from each other...
- "I'm not sure how verification for fact checking works on other platforms"
While many people think that Twitter community notes are for fact checking, it's only part of that it was marketed for (and lots of stupid twitter users apparently thinking "context you *might* want to know" = "fact check").
AWESOME concept dude!
Glad you liked it!
@@ConceptCentral TH-cam needs to hire you asap
the way youtube would never do this cause it means they dont get to harass you with adverts every ten seconds
WE NEED THAT, ITS AWESOME!! YOU SHOULD TEACH TH-cam PROGRAMERS AND DESIGNERS TO DO THISSSSSSS
Oo. Seems like I've got better ideas:
1. Searching videos across playlists
2. Searching videos by:
- Text on thumbnail
- Elements, objects and icons on thumbnail
- Colors on thumbnail
Interesting ig
Thumbnail searches don't seem like a very good idea
SEARCHING MUSIC INSIDE PLAYLIST
the absence of this single feature keeps me on Spotify
1:09 finally there is a sue for google Gemini
0:31 Going to steal all these features ty💀💀
Give credits tho

And more categories like comment likes, comment replies, channel uploads, channel posts, and livestreams
1:06 yo!
really nice concept btw, video notes are a great idea, and I’m intrigued by the implications of having a way to talk directly to the algorithm.
on a basic level it offers the same functionality (to the user at least) of liking/disliking something, but maybe it would make sense to give more weight to a similar feedback, even if it’s merely because it requires a more direct involvement than just tapping a button, it’s a cool idea to explore
probably your best concept yet
Love that thumbnail of yours (and the video itself)!
Glad you liked the concept 🙏
@@ConceptCentral thanks, glad you liked that too!
I thought you only uploaded it to Twitter lol. I shouldn't be this surprised! 😝
Haha YT is my main platform
Direct message and talking to youtube are the features all want.
this is actually becoming real 💀
yep 🤯🤯
