You seem to be doing more for tenant farmers than the NFU. Should the TFA and the NFU collaborate more?
Thanks for recognising the many hours we spend lobbying on behalf of the tenanted sector of agriculture. When our end goals align, the TFA does indeed collaborate with the NFU and other rural stakeholders so that we have an amplified united voice. A recent example of this was a joint letter sent to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, expressing our concern regarding the lack of consultation with industry and professional practitioners on the impacts and details of the proposed policy reforms to Agricultural Property Relief (APR) and Business Property Relief (BPR) ahead of legislation to enact the changes being introduced later this year.
