    Why padding on the back of the speaker wire terminals?
    I've seen subs with built-in stereo amps for the mids/highs with those terminals on them. On those, the padding prevents air leaks in a carefully designed cabinet.

      Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Didn't think of air leaks, was mainly thinking vibration.

    How are you mate
    Is Siliconchip SC480 amplifier is High Fidelity or is it a Public Address amplifier
    IF it is High Fidelity how is the audio quality.
    My taste is Warm British sound.

      The SC480 incarnation of the ETI-480 works great.
