Baxter Dury is a musical genius.. his Dad would be very proud. happy soup was a weapon of an album as is this one.

I hear the Damned, Streets, Young Marble Giants... and it still sounds fresh, new, unaffected and most importantly it's fucking honest....rock n' roll for the balled. Just pure Autumn...Blake ...Mark Smith and Bax. Best single by an artist in years.

Un disco magnífico. Su autor Baxter Dury no es demasiado conocido en nuestro país, siempre ha vivido bajo la sombra de su padre, demasiado grande para abarcarla. Sí, estás en lo cierto se trata del hijo del legendario Ian Dury, en su música encontrarás ecos de la creación de su padre y una voz muy similar. Es inevitable que sus composiciones te recuerden a las de su padre. Baxter tiene una interesante discografía a sus espaldas pero en este "It's pleasure" ha tocado la varita de la inspiración. Es su mejor trabajo gracias a canciones como: "Pleasure", "Others men's girls", "Palm trees" o "Police". Pop minimalista, artesanal, creado con excelente buen gusto. Una pequeña maravilla que no dejarás de recomendar.

If you consider this to be one of the songs of the year then it's been a pretty tragic year for music... It's very very average and that annoying keyboard refrain is something that a five year old ( unless you're Mozart and knocked out a symphony ) could concoct in no time... I have nothing against Baxter as I have one of his early albums and his dad was simply brilliant but there are far more interesting and greater rewards in this years music than this simplistic little pop curio.

EnosEverything Who honestly gives a fuck about how complex stuff is or how easy it is to make? if it's enjoyable it's enjoyable. It's as simple as that. If Anthony Gardner thinks this is one of the best songs of the year it is that way for Anthony.

Yes...the band is what attracted me to Ian...the poetry is fine but his band was something to behold. Baxter's group also cooks.

Listened to Baxter before and couldn’t quite put my finger on why I liked the music so much, when I put 2 +2 together, I had a little bit of sex wee in my pants, The Dury Institution continues and just gets better.😍😍
