Thanks man... you just saved me a few $. I could get it read via taking it into Suzuki and getting a more accurate reading but this method definitely checks out considering how many hours were on my bike when I bought it to how much riding I have done so far.
Glad I could help:) you will need a battery to use the suzuki diagnostic tool which is a dealer only tool, but if your not a dealer you can use this method
The number plate and front fender fit with no modifications but I’m not sure if the other plastics would fit, sorry I can’t be of more help but these things are always trial and error
It’s a hole shot assist, kind of like a traction control for starts, I has two modes, one for concrete start gates and the other for loose dirt, I hope this helps
@@mattandkatchristie2552 with the bike running and in 1st or 2nd gear hold the button till it flashes slowly and you are in start mode 1 if you hold the button till it flashes fast you are in start mode 2, it cuts ignition timing when the rear tire is slipping too much to try to get as much grip for a start as possible
no no, it is the map button for the 2 different hole shot assist’s but when you first start the bike it will flash and then go solid without you touching it and the duration of the solid light multiplied by the number in the manual and you get how many run hours the bike has as long as it’s under 100 hours, anything over 100 hours will just show up as 100 hours

Is this just for Suzuki? I tried it on my kx 450 and couldn’t figure it out. But it did work on my rmz
I think it only works on the rmz but I do see that the kx has an identical button, I’ll let you know if I find anything definite

Did you put a 2020 front fender on? And do you know if you can put 2020 plastics on a 2016?

Will this work for a 2014 rmz250 ?
If it has a s-hac hole shot mapping button than it will work but I’m not sure if the 2014 has one
