I missed that you reacted to Reminiscence over a week ago. The original artist was, indeed, Sanullim: three brothers who formed a band in high school and who were mainly active 1977 - 1981 (though they had steady reunions thereafter). Since they were a three-piece band, there were no keyboards on the original. The guy sitting in the chair is the middle brother, Kim Chang-hoon, who was the bass player; hence his happiness that Arem stayed with the original bass line. The oldest brother is Kim Chang-wan who was the guitarist and vocalist, and if you watch k-dramas at all, you may well have seen him: he has had a very successful career as a character actor in things like Coffee Prince, My Love From The Star and It's Okay Not To Be Okay among dozens of other productions.
Thanks for the review, I’ve been following RQ since they started putting up covers on TH-cam during the pandemic and it is great pleasure to see them getting recognised. I love their talent, their skill, their sound and it is obvious in their live performances, they love what they are doing and having a blast. I’m a loner is the theme song of a Korean TV drama series, same as their song Higher. Regarding Reminiscence, you should listen to the Sanullim original, RQ lifted the original into a different dimension. I’m not at all surprised by Kim Chang-hoon saying RQ has made up for the shortcomings of the original. Also Jayoung’s vocals in that song is absolutely outstanding. Her scat singing is on same level as some top jazz singers. Thanks for reading my spill.

Reminiscence is a fantastic cover that transcends a more ordinary original song in my opinion. Both the vocals & the music are gorgeous ❤😮
