Team Fullsterkur is back in the 2024 Seventy48. We got knocked out in 2023 at 52 miles in. After camping on Blake Island we were on plan to overnight again at Hansville at the 52 mile point. We battled a nasty northerly that blew in late in the day but reached Hansville on schedule. However the winds continued to build and we elected to withdraw at that point know ing we could haul the boat out a this point vs getting pinned down else where on the course. We learned that in this race, if you have the weather, you need to GO!
