    I'm so happy you said that we can be cautious without fearing being foolish. I think the biggest reason I stay on guard--even if I know it's unhealthy for me--is because I'm so concerned the second I let my guard down is when shit hits the fan

      I completely understand this feeling. My DA is more like this, but him and I talked about the "unpacked boxes" habit we both have. Every time he's moved or I've moved, we always leave at least ONE box packed. It's like a subconscious fear that when we finally unpack that last box, that's when the other shoe will drop and everything will go to shit.
      I totally feel you. ❤

      You're absolutely right-finding that balance between caution and self-trust is a process. Taking care of yourself without being constantly on guard is key.

      I’m basically doing that too. It was a month of daily texts and seeing him consistently. Now the pattern changed and I am in high anxiety. I’m trying not to lash out at him, I want to ask calmly, and I don’t think I wanna end things just yet but it’s hard not to.

    This sounds a lot like focus shifting. I remember when I was broke and sleeping in my car I read several books on how to shift your focus on what's going wrong with the solution of how to fix the problem. I'm happy to say it worked! Great suggestions on this video!

    I’ve hung out with a guy for 2 months, first month was consistent and now it’s changing and we barely talk. He thinks we fight but it’s just talking and he’s pulling away. I am trying not to let my anxiety lash out, so this is helpful. I pray I overcome my triggers.

    Thank you for breaking this down, separate from the other vid where you went over this quickly. To clarify, is it 10 memories for each “opposite” in step #2?

    • @D2naSoaring
      @D2naSoaring 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Its best to pick 1 main thing youre working on, for example I am not good enough. You need 10 examples for the opposite.
      I am good enough and here's my proof.
      1) At work yesterday blah blah
      2) with my friend 2 months ago blah blah
      3) this morning blah blah
      And so on

      The tool she taught is great for DAs too 😊 pick 1 core wound thst DAs have and find 10 memories for the opposite. I am not good, I am alone, I am excluded, I am defective, I am unsafe and more are all wounds most DAs have. Remember to only pick 1 and focus on it and begin luck with your healing journey 😊

    I believe doing subconscious work helps, but also the partner u have. If there is trust & communication like u know u just need some check ins...and they work with u
    Then all is good nervous system will be👍🌻
