My type of guy that only takes one or two rods and sometimes fishing can get you overwhelmed on what you want and need and etc.... Pretty much a 200 series reel can almost throw and does it all just gotta have that rod length for the distance. Good video once again
Nick is an extremely humble rod builder and truly stands behind everything he builds. I do not see myself ever needing or using a rod different from Cotter rod works. Thanks for sharing this vid
It's great to see another option for a good Swimbait rod. Right now, LDC and Leviathan seem to be dominating the market. I'm excited to see the WCZ rods when they're released.
@@DustyFishing I enjoy seeing all the new rods come out. It’s time we start seeing competition to breed innovation in the rod scene. We’ve started to see what it can do in the bait side of things. Yes there’s only so much you can do with a rod and bait design. But I truly believe there can always be improvements made, better components, or more efficient methods. Excited to see what 2025 has to offer in the industry.
Absolutely love the Revival series Rod I've been putting this rod to work this season and very satisfied with it. It's been prefect for a large variety of bait's from top water to glide's crackdowns and softies everything in the 2.4oz to 5.3oz it's performed beautifully for.
This channel is awesome, this guy totally reminds me of another TH-cam angler. If you close your eyes and just listen to his voice, he sounds almost identical to Sam Sobi, just a lil less northern 😂.
Would you say just by feel or maybe by weight in hand or balance with and without a reel is better than an omega heavy? I know they are the same price point and I think the same nfc blank and similar components. Love the review!
@@ethanshaikun180 I run the MH omega so I can only speak for that model. The omega (with no reel) is BARELY heaver in my hands I think. The balance point with the same reel is very similar imo. It could honestly come down to what you look for in a rod with how parabolic you like + how far down you start to feel the back bone of the rod. Both very solid rods, but I am excited to try the cotter rod this season. A little different than what I’ve been using but still in my wheel house.
Right? he says I’m gonna use this for treble hooks & citizen 7s . Those are 2 opposite type of hooks & fishing techniques. If it’s a go to for Citizen hooksets, it may be too heavy for treble hooks.

Adrian is about to take over the entire TH-cam scene
He will take the place of mrbeast

I’ve built a lot of rods on that blank. It’s solid and insanely versatile for treble baits. One of the lighted blanks you can get. 👏

I’m very excited, counting down the weeks until open water. It’s so balanced and feels great in the hands, can’t wait to yam a few fish with it!
Good video as usual and how are you going to cure that cork
I recommend one coat of U-40 cork seal

I use to really enjoy Sam’s video and page. I’ll take that as a big compliment 😆
Good stuff, Adrian. Happy Holidays my man 👊
@@my71chevro1et thank you my friend, to you as well!

Love the Rod Vids🔥
Did you weigh the rod?
@@thexbooksx I just weighed it on my food scale. So it’s probably not CRAZY accurate. But the cotter rod came in around 186grams, 6.561 oz.
@@ScalesnTales_Media Amazing. Thank you!
A magic eraser will get your cork handles looking like new
If the cork gets dirty, use a magic eraser
@@Sabzilla I’ve done that before, I had heard it can dry out and damage the cork. But I never saw anything like that happening to my handles.
@@ScalesnTales_Media yeah I’ve done it once and I haven’t seen anything either and it’s still nice
But on a $400 rod I wouldn’t take the chance 😮💨
F5 best rods out there
That’s not a soft bait rod the thing bends all the way to the handle
