Episode 169 Garrett's Customs
มุมมอง 34214 วันที่ผ่านมา
There are a ton of painters in the scene now, many of whom you can identify just by their trout patterns. Garrett’s work is easily recognizable-and for good reason. With around six years of painting experience, he’s nearly perfected his process from start to finish. Garrett has tapped into a niche market that others haven’t explored: repainting soft baits for customers. This side project requir...

มุมมอง 1.4Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Two of the most sought-after baits in the community, often selling for hundreds over retail on the second-hand market. He shares his introduction to bait building and how Hinkle Lure...

Is This The Best Budget Swimbait Rod?
Not sure why this popped up but nice vid!
Good videos brother. Been watching a few and each one is quality.
The Japanese record is the only documented record and weighed more. Don't care how the books count it, it was an ounce heavier and the true record
I believe Buck Perry figured out deep water Bass before Bill Murphy. Why does Buck Perry fishing never come up when people talk about the history of bass fishing. He gets credit for being the godfather of structure fishing but no way ever seems to talk about his success. I'm starting to believe you got a cast and troll to become a great fisherman and not scared of any giant body of water.
Crawler. Thanks guys
True giant bass story, you probably remember me hitting the group chat after this trip. Went to an OG spot that I used to beat the banks at with my new to me chrome blueback deps 250; this bait had already shown me fish I never dreamed of being in this spot, 4 or 5 fish over 5 following at once with no intention on biting.. I digress, walked out on a floating marina and bombed the bait parallel with the slips, probably 20-30 yards, let it sink for 20 or so seconds and started my slow and steady retrieve. Saw the bait rising up about 6’ under the surface and a huge black mass raised with it, huge, she followed it all the way up to about 5 feet from me never getting within 4 or 5 feet from the bait. Not doing that snake motion, just rising with the bait. Then she swam back down. Eyes bulging, the size of golf balls. Looking back, there are some things I’d change but for 15-16 year old me just seeing it was enough to never stop trying! Didn’t mean to write a book, got kinda lost in the memory!
I have an unpainted replica of the 25lber "Dotty".
Awesome video Dean!
Why are the fish out in California sooooo freaking big????
First generation bass mixed with Florida and Northern strain bass feeding on trout. Except for fish out of Lake Hodges, which was never stocked with trout. I live in San Diego.
This video was awesome. As someone who has got into trophy hunting this year, it was really cool to hear the stories and backstory behind it all. Super sick video!!
Awesome video my boy keep them coming
Ive been chasing a 5lbs bass for years out of my home lake i caught 9 four pounders last year. But a 8 pound one here is like getting the world record only heard of a couple caught here and dip netted one for my dad when I was a kid
