Let's skip the part where USA promised Ukraine protection from Russia if Ukraine gives up their nukes
Exactly
Wasn't the USA. It was the Russian government that promised a non-aggression treaty in exchange for the nukes.
Which never should have happened.
Ussr had nukes
Also Russia said they wouldn’t invade either if we gave them up
it was Russian nuke in the first place...coz UKraine did not have the key to use them just like how US nuke is in germany
I've never heard of a legal invasion of a country. I keep hearing people say "illegal invasion" but I've never heard of a legal invasion of any country in history.

@@elmo2800 that's not an invasion lol
Like you call for war before attacking
@@elmo2800 Illegal. Complex matter I can break down entirely for you but I suspect there's not enough interest to verify the claims I'd make and you'd probably start throwing around a bunch of labels and insults; but basically, Germany didn't start WW2 so the Allied invasion was completely unjustified and "illegal" as well.
Germany had a right to defend itself and demand autnomous sovereignty, just like anyone else.
The persecution of a specific religious group was brought upon themselves when Judea declared war on Germany on March 24th 1933, as reported by the NY Times and many other news outlets across the world, at that time. This was the first declaration of war in Europe since the end of WW1. Wikipedia claims it's a "conspiracy theory" but there's so many newspaper clippings with dates and everything, to support it.
"But Germany invaded Poland!"
- Yes, and Poles were massacring Germans by the thousands - 58.000 were brutally murdered in the summer of 1939 and 1.2 million Germans had been displaced from their homes, Danzig was under siege and entirely cut off from the rest of Germany.
Germany had a right to defend itself and to rescue its citizens now stuck in what had recently become Polish borders.
5 offers of de-escalation was offered by Germany but all rejected, at which Polish troops then fired upon German troops on German soil, at the end of August 1939.
That's when Adolf then held his speech where he declared they would respond "in the same language the Poles had spoken to them for so long; bomb will be met by bomb", on September 1st, 1939.
European history is my profession, hobby and passion. I'm not making these claims on a whim. It's verifiable data, although Wikipedia isn't a reliable source, but newspapers from this time, is.
(Unless it's Walter Duranty reporting on the Soviet famine created by the eradication of the Kulaks in Ukraine; he lied and downplayed it, reporting that it was all lies when in fact closer to 10 million people had already starved to death...)
Delusional people provide no hope for people who are struggling.
A treaty made by everyone except the country involved
The country in question cannot autonomously join NATO. You had an agreement between an adversary and those who had decision making power.
Totally legitimate and logical. Why do so many people struggle with the plain and simple?
Why do I feel that this agreement was made in Munich rather than Minsk?
@@TheExpendableGuard because you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about perhaps?
@@TheExpendableGuard What is so difficult. The first Minsk agreement was made in 2008 in Minsk. America didn't stick to the agreement . The new agreement was signed by Russia and Ukraine in Normandy, France with Macron and Merkel overseeing it. America then orchestrated the uprising in 2014 in order to put their puppet leader Zelensky into power. The rest was bound to happen from that point.
Happened to my country in 1938. Im so angry we do this again...
Its not like Russia kept any of their premisses
It doesn't matter
What? Look up the Minsk agreement and see how much the West really cares. Look up Angela Merkels comments on said agreement and come back and see how silly that comment is. The US always has and always will push for war.

As a citizen of Lithuania, a former soviet state, it angers me so much that Russian's security concerns are put on a pedestal over other former states. We are also sovereign nations, we also should have a right to decide what we want to join and to ally ourselves with. I am 24 im still young, but even in my own relatively short lifetime i noticed a huge economical growth and increase in quality of life compared to what it was before. A lot of it is because we decided to align ourselves with the west. Why Russia's security concerns can trump all other former soviet state's security concerns and right to self determination? Why other former soviet states that were not so lucky as Baltic states are robbed of this opportunity? What are they afraid of, when did we attacked them, fucked with their politics or did anything similar to what Russia did to us? If Russia wanted us to align with them more they should have offered something more for us to want that, but it did not. We just want to be left alone and not be treated like some chess piece for some other big nations to be fucked with and determine our future for us.

gotta love those agreements that decide over a country, without having that country be part of the negotiations, it's not like history has shown time and time again that that always backfires eventually.
well the funny thing is, that ukraine were in those agreements as a party both times and was "fine" with it, but in reality both parties did break that agreement very shortly, aka ukrainians did not stop shelling and bombing and attacking and killing ethnic russians in donbass/luhansk regions and russia did not go through their own end and pull out their "support" and weapons from those regions. But since Merkel said herself, they lied and were not honest about minsk 1 and 2 accords and were doing them, just to "buy time" to arm ukraine even further or even get ukraine close to official nato membership... so yeah, neither party was willing or honest, but id say the russians were the ones who got fooled the most in it.

Ukraine not joining NATO. How is that unreasonable? They were never going to join anyways.

It is that easy. All he would have to do is present the accords & Boom.

We wanted this war as much as Russia did. We have repeatedly disregarded Russia’s reasonable demands. RFK says for the “last 10 years”, but in actuality we have been provoking Russia since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The Cold War never ended.
@@anonymouscat6677 Russias demands are unreasonable. It’s pure imperialism. A sovereign state has the right to employ whatever policy it wants with regards to its own international relations. The people of Ukraine voted for pro-NATO and Pro-EU candidates, who is Russia to cry about that?

Doesn't matter how you personally feel about the conflict. Breaking treaties/ promises has consequences.
1. Ukraine never agreed to not join NATO. They agreed to give up nuclear weapons so Russia would not attack them ever.
2. Ukraine also agreed that they would never become part of Russia in any form ever again.
3. Ukraine also never threatened Russia with NATO membership, until after 2014 and more recently, 2021-2022.
All of those „experts” opinions will age badly 😂
There's also another easy way to end the war. Russia could like...leave lol
