I'm a student of accountancy and finance and yet I'm here watching a video on astronomy. What you are doing is amazing. We need people like you who can introduce this subject to our youth in a language they understand and in a way that shows them how fascinating these things are. And most importantly, IMO, these videos need to be strictly scientific. More power to you.
I am not a student of astronomy but I love it and studying it from youtube(like MIT and Stanford channels) and I am also watching your videos (even I know or aware of these concepts) just to support you because you are the first TH-camr on youtube who are doing fair and honest with science in Urdu honestly( by excluding theology). But It will never make me surprise that some ignorant are there in the comments section who knows more than the Ph.D.'s because by luck they are Muslim Pakistani 😁.

The part where you said that natural philosophers of their time didn’t even consider formation of the solar system a ‘scientific’ question and how not only that question today is scientific but the answer is taught to kids in secondary school - gives me hope when I ask questions about the origin of the Universe. You know - this episode gave me hope. Optimism. To ask. To hope that there could be an answer to questions that may not make sense today. Also - this episode gave some sense of fear; do we know what questions to even ask when it comes to the origin of the Universe? What if we aren’t asking the right questions? What if we aren’t looking at it the ‘right’ way? What if we don’t even know what we don’t know? That scares me.

I want to add something in simple words. there is no such concept of right and wrong question if your question is based on pure research(fair and honest) for example if some someone ask question about origin of the universe like who was before big bang because he wants to proof his God is right one then this thing is based on ignorance and unfair.

At the moment we just measure time relative to movement of something else e.g. movement of clock, earth around sun or cesium 133 atom cycles etc. but still we are measuring one movement against another. And this so called "time" seems to stop for an external observer at light speed or in black holes...
@@voiceguy554 Yes - time is a hard concept and it is discussed philosophically as well. But it is also a property of our universe (even if it is relative to different places).

Hello Sir Salman, I really respect the way you explain complex topics in such a simple way. I have a two part question 1) What is the nature of particles in quantum fluctuation? And 2) How come Black Holes evaporate when one of these two particles is sucked in?
Thank you Umer - and excellent questions: 1) I'm not sure of this. But mu guess is that it partly would depend on nature (especially in terms of its energy) and duration of fluctuations. 2) This is because energy is conserved. Normally, particles and antiparticles are created and they get immediately destroyed. But on the edge of event horizon, one escapes and the other falls into the black hole. There is a bit of a negative energy now in the budget of the universe - and hence the black hole loses some energy - until it evaporates. It of course takes a loooong time - and the it is mostly predicted for micro blackholes.

Question is: from where the whole matter came from? According to the 1st law of thermodynamics, matter can’t be created nor destroyed What is the explanation of the matter which converged to the point and explosion happened of a Big Bang? Great question. In fact, universe in the early phase expanding billions of times faster than the speed of light (it is called "Inflation"). The reason is that nothing can "communicate" faster than the speed of light. If the universe is expanding - everything within it expanding with itself - and cannot communicate faster than the speed of light. The universe itself has no speed limit!!

Sir!it was an amazing episode,I read somewhere that the laws of physics as we know them,cease to operate in singularity, means in singularity there're laws of physics which don't exist in our world,so how can we investigate the singularity before the big bang with the same laws of physics which we know today?so,do we have to invent "New Physics" that's different from our "Standard Physics" to explore this mystery?
Thank you and a great question. I would say that our laws of physics are incomplete and do not explain the condition of singularity. In that context, yes, perhaps we will new physics. But the laws themselves don't cease to exist - but it exposes the limited of the current laws.

Big bang is already written in Quran 1400 years ago but humans discovered it now.So it means Quran is from God(Allah).Allah already knew that non muslims will argue about these things,So he already answered their questions long ago.Search Quran and modern science on youtube.

Aysha - There are two answers to that. First, if you haven't done so already, please join a local astronomy society. There are some excellent ones on Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, and Hyderabad (some other cities as well...). Then COMSATS has a program in space sciences that includes some astronomy, Karachi University also has a space/astronomy program, QAU in Islamabad and LUMS in Lahore have good physics programs - and physics is the foundation of astronomy.

Logically we have answer that a thing can never be made without the creator. An intelligent system can never be the result of an accident cannot create itself. Y seeing everything around you, you can never assume things and creations without creator. But if you focus directly on the creation of that creator, it means you are going to find the answer of an infinite question. Because then you will ask who is the creator of that creator, then creator of the creator of the creator of the creator... And so on and at the end you would have no answer... I think No Wiseman would do that.
@P J In God's Throne time, Earth is 2 days old while the Heavens, Earth and everything in between are 6 days old. This makes the age of Earth to be one third the age of the universe (2/6 = 1/3). Similarly in Earth time, the age of Earth is 4.57 billion years while the age of the universe is 13.7 billion years; this is also one third (4.57 bln/13.7 bln = 1/3). So it is the same ratio in Earth time or in God's Throne time. The theory of general relativity explains why time at God's Throne passes slower than on Earth. General relativity explains why 6 days passed at God's Throne but we measured it as 13.7 billion years (that is each day at God's Throne measures around 2.28 billion years on Earth). Shooting stars are thrown on Jinns because they try to steal the information. This is a Mata physical activity for which science is not so much advanced. Science hasn't seen even 16 km beneath the earth.

It is because the universe has been expanding for the past 13.7 billion years - so today the diameter of the observable universe is 92 billion light years... :)

The part where you said that natural philosophers of their time didn’t even consider formation of the solar system a ‘scientific’ question and how not only that question today is scientific but the answer is taught to kids in secondary school - gives me hope when I ask questions about the origin of the Universe.
You know - this episode gave me hope. Optimism. To ask. To hope that there could be an answer to questions that may not make sense today.
Also - this episode gave some sense of fear; do we know what questions to even ask when it comes to the origin of the Universe? What if we aren’t asking the right questions? What if we aren’t looking at it the ‘right’ way? What if we don’t even know what we don’t know? That scares me.
Ha! Perfect. Hope and dread together! But this is the reason we have to keep on asking the questions and always be curious. At the same time, we should never put a limit on what we cannot understand - and yet we ought to stay humble. Thanks Roshaan for your comment.
I want to add something in simple words. there is no such concept of right and wrong question if your question is based on pure research(fair and honest) for example if some someone ask question about origin of the universe like who was before big bang because he wants to proof his God is right one then this thing is based on ignorance and unfair.

At the moment we just measure time relative to movement of something else e.g. movement of clock, earth around sun or cesium 133 atom cycles etc. but still we are measuring one movement against another. And this so called "time" seems to stop for an external observer at light speed or in black holes...

I have a two part question
1) What is the nature of particles in quantum fluctuation? And
2) How come Black Holes evaporate when one of these two particles is sucked in?

1) I'm not sure of this. But mu guess is that it partly would depend on nature (especially in terms of its energy) and duration of fluctuations.
2) This is because energy is conserved. Normally, particles and antiparticles are created and they get immediately destroyed. But on the edge of event horizon, one escapes and the other falls into the black hole. There is a bit of a negative energy now in the budget of the universe - and hence the black hole loses some energy - until it evaporates. It of course takes a loooong time - and the it is mostly predicted for micro blackholes.

Great question. In fact, universe in the early phase expanding billions of times faster than the speed of light (it is called "Inflation"). The reason is that nothing can "communicate" faster than the speed of light. If the universe is expanding - everything within it expanding with itself - and cannot communicate faster than the speed of light. The universe itself has no speed limit!!

Sir!it was an amazing episode,I read somewhere that the laws of physics as we know them,cease to operate in singularity, means in singularity there're laws of physics which don't exist in our world,so how can we investigate the singularity before the big bang with the same laws of physics which we know today?so,do we have to invent "New Physics" that's different from our "Standard Physics" to explore this mystery?
Thank you and a great question. I would say that our laws of physics are incomplete and do not explain the condition of singularity. In that context, yes, perhaps we will new physics. But the laws themselves don't cease to exist - but it exposes the limited of the current laws.

Aysha - There are two answers to that. First, if you haven't done so already, please join a local astronomy society. There are some excellent ones on Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, and Hyderabad (some other cities as well...). Then COMSATS has a program in space sciences that includes some astronomy, Karachi University also has a space/astronomy program, QAU in Islamabad and LUMS in Lahore have good physics programs - and physics is the foundation of astronomy.

Logically we have answer that a thing can never be made without the creator. An intelligent system can never be the result of an accident cannot create itself. Y seeing everything around you, you can never assume things and creations without creator. But if you focus directly on the creation of that creator, it means you are going to find the answer of an infinite question. Because then you will ask who is the creator of that creator, then creator of the creator of the creator of the creator... And so on and at the end you would have no answer... اور وہی (اللہ) ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین (کی بالائی و زیریں کائناتوں) کو چھ روز (یعنی تخلیق و اِرتقاء کے چھ اَدوار و مراحل) میں پیدا فرمایا اور (تخلیقِ اَرضی سے قبل) اس کا تختِ اقتدار پانی پر تھا (اور اس نے اس سے زندگی کے تمام آثار کو اور تمہیں پیدا کیا) تاکہ وہ تمہیں آزمائے کہ تم میں سے کون عمل کے اعتبار سے بہتر ہے؟ اور اگر آپ یہ فرمائیں کہ تم لوگ مرنے کے بعد (زندہ کر کے) اٹھائے جاؤ گے تو کافر یقینًا (یہ)
کہیں گے کہ یہ تو صریح جادو کے سوا کچھ (اور) نہیں ہے

Evolution is real, lot of evidences from fossils, comparative anatomy, vestigial organs, and lot more. It's close to law.

Allah ka koi religion nhi hota.. religion insan ka liya hota hai.. tht is believing tht God is “one” and there no other God.
