Good post. A lot of HD camcorders specify certain SD cards speed and depending on the camcorder I have to get another SD card that caters to the specifications of that HD camcorder and I can't use the SD card I already have. - J.D. Watkins

Well I was having issues with slow cards so I needed to understand exactly how speed class works. Card manufactures don't bother to explain and just slap on a new speed class and expect us to keep up.
Now I want to collect vintage SD cards. This channel is bad for my budget, lol. Thanks for watching.

You're freakin' right!! I don't have the money to keep purchasing different SD cards for different HD camcorders.....and this is why I try to keep my HD mini dv camcorders in good condition because all I need to purchase is a high standard mini-dv tape, OR I use my CLEAR CLICK HD converter if my tape heads give me problems. But at least I don't usually have to be worried with the vague different SD cards.

I was recently copying some small videos and DOS games to some old 16MB and 32MB SD cards for the hell of it. They appeared to be writing at 150kB/sec.
