I actually asked my mom to go to this sketchbook store and got me a sketchbook when she traveled to Italy! The quality is great!!

Actually, a few weeks ago, inspired by your sketchbooks, I grabbed some sheets of Canson paper I had around, and binded them in a simple handmade sketchbook. Did anyone else tried this? There are plenty of videos on youtube teaching simple bookbinding techniques. I just picked one and give it a go. Obviously, it didn't came out with a polished look, but for me it feels more special than if I had bought one.

I’ve made a few of my own handmade sketchbooks as well
I actually tried mi teintes paper recently. it is quite good for charcoal and takes acrylic gesso / pva sizing quite well.

One of my favourite vlogs of yours so far! This was really cool, I have never thought of making my personal sketchbook in a shop like the one you showed to us and now I think my next sketchbook will be done that way cause I always struggle to find right paper too!

For good quality sketchbooks, you might try Innovative Journaling. They make a variety of sketchbooks with good quality papers and will customize things for you.

When painting oils on the sketch book how you go about the drying time? You keep the book page open/exposed until it is actually dry? For this reason I only use Watercolor on mine
