the difference between when zidane and pep came in and artetas situation is the squads they inherited. Zidane had a squad that had won the champions league 2 seasons before a team with ronaldo ramos marcelo bale benzema, pep came into a team that had messi, peak iniesta xavi valdes puyol who had just won the euros he had henry eto a team full of leaders. arteta has not got that at all. i hope it goes well for him but i dont think you can compare the situation they were in to artetas.

The board will back him. He is someone who is honest and must have told them straight to their face that he needs to rebuild the team. He knows half of the squad isnt good enough.

Very impressed- He got ask whether he thought our attacking identity had gone. I waited to hear if he would be honest, and he said Yes. Im Optimistic that he will impart an identity on this side and buy players to fit and function within his setup. The Board better back him!
