Dragons are a bit too slow for cEDH. I switch between Ur-Dragon and Tiamat for dragon tribal deck and in general you are looking at turn 4-7 turn win. Very few low mana curve dragons so you end up either wasting a few turns, playing cards that don't add to the gameplan, or playing control.
I’m honestly surprised Kenrith and Sisay aren’t in the top 3 for the cEdh viability alone. And you missed out on plenty of points as to what make either of them strong, or fast
I know he's probably not good to some people, especially for competitive commander, but Ramos, Dragon Engine is a decent 5 color commander I use. He has great synergy when you like playing multicolored spells. There's even niche ways to abuse his ability.
Would love to see the standard coverage alongside the normal UB. Whatever you are passionate about in the moment will make the videos great like always!
In addition to what's said, Golos can thrive in ANY COLORED DECK. The activated ability was redundant for decks that are not five color. I faced Mono Green Elfball, Azorius Stax, Mardu Human Aristocrats. All of them used Golos as Commander. It was really bad at my LGS that 20 of the 26 ran Golos at the same time. Cedh players didn't really saw Golos as a viable choice, so they ignored him. I have a deep seated hatred of that guy.
I remember a Golos deck I had planned. "Mono green" to ramp as hard as possible, Golos would only ever search out The World Tree, and the wincon was to World Tree to cheat most every god in the game into play. Then they banned Golos.
@VincentAlucard Once I swapped my sliver deck to Gravemother and made a few adjustments, it's been the most fun I've ever had playing slivers, especially once I added Sundial of the Infinite
It's weird how in all the other videos we ignore Commander for being a casual format, then in the first commander we're talking about how it's great in casual but not great in competitive. So...how are we treating Commander here? Are we looking at it as a casual format, or are we looking at CEDH?
I play Jared Carthalion as my commander. Not only he's the first precon deck that I got into Magic with, but I love how he promotes inclusion with all the colors. If anybody has any tips on how to play him, I'm all ears
I'm a bit upset that Omnath Locus of All wasn't even mentioned. That is my favorite commander at all time and you can throw the kitchen sink at him and still find combo lines
either jodah and the ur-dragon ar misses honorable mention is horde of notions for elemntal tribal despite the third omnath as the most played on (ps a new horde of notions could happen since were going back to lorwyn) oh i do have a conspiracy theory for foundations i feel they could end up making a new golos like legend card but far less broken
5 color cvommanders : the color do not only include the mana color symbols, it also includes any printed color no? Like The Gremlin lady who summons red gremlins, her identity is white blue red, since she spawns RED tokens. Cannot be playhed in a blue white commander deck, only in blue white red, No ???
So given that top 3 are going to be Sisay, Najeela and Kenrith in that order I'd guess 4th spot would probably be Omnath. That thing ramps and filters surprisingly well if the game slows down.
In Arena, I have a Golos deck that runs a buncha gods. Idea is drop Golos to find The World Tree. Then just get enough mana to activate it. Gods include Purphoros, so you have lethal. Arena's brawl is obvs 1v1: when I tried to design the deck for table EDH, I used the OTHER purphoros, but that had a lot more deck building limitations, since you needed to make sure you had enough devotion so the gods were properly creatures so you'd get enough shock triggers from Purphoros to wipe the table. But then Golos got banned and it was like "Welp never playing that I guess." Not that I have anyone to play with in person these days anyway...
Five color commanders are lame. Color restrictions help for more creative deck building rather than generic 5 color value piles. I’m not saying you can’t do anything cool with five color commanders but generally the ones I’ve faced end up being boring generic value engines.
Not watching the list yet but im guessing half the list is: is just worse than kenrith at value for 5 color good stuff. And the other 4 cards on the list are tribal cards.
Check the rules. Kindred fully replaces tribal. They are the same thing, just like how Interrupts are now Instants. It's a wording change because Wizards doesn't wanna offend anyone, like real tribe groups in the world. Kindred also makes way more sense. Not all Vampires, Elves, Goblins, Humans etc are part of tribes in the lore. But they share a creature type, making them kin to each other.
I really was expecting golos to be an honorable mention for, you know, been banned
No Jodah?? Seriously?!
Definitley a good choice but it isn't as common outside of Brawl
I'm i little surprised Ur-Dragon isn't on here but at the same time I have no idea about anything in cEDH

It's just completely unviable. Then again it doesn't seem to be CEDH being ranked here because a lot of these choices are pretty terrible.
Morphon the boundless - the best Hamster commander by far.
hamster? so if i play it with Minsc and Boo it will be fun?
I’m honestly surprised Kenrith and Sisay aren’t in the top 3 for the cEdh viability alone. And you missed out on plenty of points as to what make either of them strong, or fast

Yay it’s finally here! Now do top 10 4 color decks 😊
Top ten worst 5c commanders would’ve been more interesting I think
Kinda wild how often you talked about a banned card
Surprised at no Jodah or other Jodah because they're both incredibly strong

I hope my favorite 5c commander is here. Horde of notions FTW! I hope we see him again in lorwyn 🙏🙏🙏
i was just thinking that we're going back to lorwyn and horde was my second ever commander deck
sad none of jodahs apeared
Sliver over lord for me
Being able to tutor any sliver is fun
It's fun for like the first 3 games, then it's the same gameplan every game. I would recommend running The First Sliver or Gravemother for variety.
@VincentAlucard Once I swapped my sliver deck to Gravemother and made a few adjustments, it's been the most fun I've ever had playing slivers, especially once I added Sundial of the Infinite
@@beerbearian Got a list to share?
I'm a Jodah the Unifier man, i just playing him and saying "AVENGERS!!!! ASSEMBLE!!!"
I have a Morophon Giants deck.
You'd be surprised how a discount effects the power of some of these big boys.
We need a list of the top 10 cards that roll dice
-AKA, top 10 cards to include in your Mr. House deck /j-
I have a Codie deck which pushes zero cost cards that are usually suspend. A funny sometimes deck.
18:19 Codie + Mana Rocks best combo
Add two more for the Ad Nauseum pile.

No Jodah mention :(
I run him in Magic Arena with all of the cards with specialize from the Baldur's Gate set. It's not great, but I love the theming.
Top Ten beginner friendly/fun commander decks? I'd like to start somewhere
wait how are u able to keep on casting the first sliver if commander tax is 2?
I'm guessing this list was written before the Dockside ban?
Why guess when you can just read
Jodah : 🤨
In MTG Arena, I used Timestream Navigator as the only creature in an Esika deck, so that it could take infinite turns.
But uhhh... it wasn't good.
5 color cvommanders : the color do not only include the mana color symbols,
it also includes any printed color no? Like The Gremlin lady who summons red gremlins, her identity is white blue red, since she spawns RED tokens. Cannot be playhed in a blue white commander deck, only in blue white red, No ???
Top 10 Commander partners
This really hits different for a mono-colored deck ooga booga like me
So given that top 3 are going to be Sisay, Najeela and Kenrith in that order I'd guess 4th spot would probably be Omnath. That thing ramps and filters surprisingly well if the game slows down.
Oh. Well this is either not a CEDH rating and more your personal favourites or atrociously out of date. Golos has been banned for years.
Can we please have less motion in the backgrounds? It makes it really hard to watch

I had a golos gates commander deck in paper before the ban. Started as child of alara until golos was printed. Went back to child when he was banned
Did you at one point make World of Warcraft videos?
You forgot 5 color dragon commander for starters tiamat dragon tribal
I want to make a 5 color ally commander deck so bad but I know it'll suck. lol
No Jodah??
Golos ahould have been there also Archmage Jodah as well

Yeah but sometimes the strategy needs all 5 colors, no way around it
Play one missing a colour or not having enough of one colour is very painful
@@jakesenju Good deck building can often fix this. Also having some flaws in the deck can make it interesting to face 🤷
Counterpoint: There’s far too many Cats in each color and I want to play them all and not be limited to 3 colors of cats
@@BoltTheEmolgaditto and how would I jam an edh deck with all the myojins (even if some are useless in the deck) without my joda
top 10 Universes Beyond commanders :)
i feel the number 1 pick shouldnt really count bro sincse its a banned card in commander
Isn’t dockside banned
Yes it is but the added a note on the video to explain that point
No Reaper King ;)
I've built a Codie cycling Living End deck, and it was a blast to play. Very casual yet not weak.
Where Urtet :(
No UR, No Tiamat? Okay
Not watching the list yet but im guessing half the list is: is just worse than kenrith at value for 5 color good stuff.
And the other 4 cards on the list are tribal cards.
Free golos
golos is banned :D
My boy Cromat getting not getting an honorable mention... we truly shuffle cards in a deck
Kindred? Don't you mean tribal?
nah this list is off….
#unbangolos
Tribe =/= kindred
Stop using it interchangeably.
