I think they will stay relevant in the shoe culture. The one thing is that they are comfortable as well as fashionable. Jordan's are mostly just fashionable IMO.

Was just thinking, since I don't play basketball; I simply don't appreciate Jordan's the same way most sneaker heads do. I grew up with soccer and hockey being the biggest sports in my household and you can't rock those types of footwear off the field/rink. But I do love the Ultraboosts they do where they hybridize the soccer cleats with the UB midsole. Those are so sick.

I 100% agree with you I love the fact they are increasing production numbers, the only people pissed are the resellers who are just trying to make a buck. Although I do prefer the look of the OG beluga this shoe is still very nice, it was also the first pair of yeezys I was able to buy off the Adidas US website!

Nothing to do with beluga whales. Look up beluga sturgeon fish which produces the famous beluga caviar. That's where the colorway is from.

Neo Canadian is right. One of the most notable aspects about the beluga whale is that it is a silky white color. But baby and adolescent ones are grey. Only once they reach their juvenile years, do they start turning white. That is where the idea for a "beluga" color scheme being grey originated from. Me hoy minoy!!

I like the 2.0’s WAY better than the 1.0. Definitely more wearable in my opinion. I actually like the 2.0’s better than the Zebras. 💯 BLACK THEM THANGS OUT!!! DO IT!!!
I have this and love the color. And resell to-date (early Jan 2018), the cheapest resell is Blue Don't, it's cheaper than Beluga 2.0.

10/10 Vid. Got my first W on this shoe and since there was so many pairs I decided to keep them and they are clean af. I do recommend ppl go half a size up to be safe. I went 9.5, which is my tts and it was a tight fit. Had to remove insole and break into them to be wearable. Besides that its a solid shoe

Real Talk. I agree that the Yeezy market's volatile, given style fads and how fickle trends can be. However still going strong for now. 10 years from now they won't be fresh, but people will be talking about how it changed the sneaker landscape in terms of hype and notoriety among non sneakerheads. It really changed the game tho. It made boost fashionable by putting it into a stylish shoe, made prime-knit technology popular, and made comfort and style a key element for streetwear kicks. The Jordans are stylish as hell but most people would not say they are the most comfy to wear all day meanwhile the Yeezys are both comfy & stylish with their sleek design.
i believe they will stay relevant.. i never cared about anything trendy or whatever or dont play sports... but when i saw v1 on a dude on youtube i instantly fell in love just because of how clean and unique they are... now that they are releasing such minimal / plain colorways i think they will stick around...

The shoe is super dope regardless. I don’t really care as much about the exclusivity as I used to, it definitely is nice to have something that someone else doesn’t have but at the end of the day it’s a comfortable ass shoe that looks good. Only problem with it being such a general release, like you said, the quality control sucked, so much variation in the pairs I’ve seen even on the sizing labels
On the Static blacks I went 1 size up and its too small... Ordered them in one and a half size up.

sooooooo much better in hand. the clean but detailed colorway easily became my favorite once i put on foot. had to order a second pair once i had on foot
just enough red that still allows you to rock with most outfits.. with the 1.0 that orange stripe can throw off some outfits

Adidas should just make yeezys constantly available for everyone by stocking them everyday like ultraboosts. They have nothing to loose. They make no money off the reselling market, so might as well flood the market. Just keep the quality on.
But the hype exists because of them being exclusive...the ultraboosts aren't as hyped...i get what you mean, but the yeezys would have to be the same as the ultraboosts and go on sale for them to become mainstream and not just for hypebeasts
Hes , I love the fact that Adidas dropped more pairs to give more cats who really like them a chance to cop. I hope they continue to drop pairs to weaken that resale game .. and weed out the cats that only like the shoe because it's so limited

I do the same size as UBs. These fit tight, but stretch out. I did have one QC issue, my pull tabs are sized differently. I have one I can fit 2 fingers between, and one that I can only fit one between. No biggie tho. They visually look the same.
I can figure into a pair of size 7 nmds perfect and with my yeezys I ordered an 8 and it fits the same as the nmds

It’s called the v2 because it’s almost as if the v2 was the v1’s other half. The stripe color and text color are reversed though not exact. If you look at 6:08 in the video and you pressed the shoes together, the backwards font of the v2 would go exactly where the orange lacks on the v1, creating a solid orange stripe.
Dirty zebras lmfao. The increased production made me really happy. This was my first yeezy cop. But I think QC took a hit. Also the sply 350 and pull tab look really red in pics and video but in hand its super orange. I had to go .5 up and the toe box is still a bit snug. They're pretty narrow.

In Europe u can get a Pair for 240-280€. Retail was 220€. I think when they dry up they will more worth with Time.

idk how I feel about yeezys being so available. I mean because of this I was able to get the 2.0s and blue tints but most people love yeezys because there so limited, its such a rare shoe. I get way more looks wearing a vs oreo than if I were to be wearing the beluga 2.0. I think the yeezy name might die because of the production numbers being so high. But other than all of that the shoe looks and feels great and i'm glad finally most people are being able to get it, I guess it just has its pros and cons.

If you wear thicker socks and wear true to size, they will fit tight in the shoe box. I have the blue tints and they are fine with thinner socks and they fit nicely

I paid 470 + 10 shipping and it take 3-4 days to get authenticated and delivered.
This shoe is $340CAD after tax in Canada and I was able to get my wife a pair for christmas for $400CAD which is nuts, equivalent of paying like $45USD over retail. Basically got her pair cheaper that YEEZYsupply shipping to Canada which is $50USD, love the limited colorways when the come out but its awesome that I think a lot of people are gonna have these as xmas gifts since their are actually attainable. I still think in 6-12 months these will recover and sell for higher prices than the creams just because its a better more wearable colorway in most people I've talked to opinion and my own.

My favourites V2s are 1) Beluga 1.0 2)bred 3) Creams. Tbh I don't think they'll 'die' but will still be relevant in the same way that Jordans are. Kanye did say in 2015 that Yeezys will be available for everyone, so its not really any surprise that its going to turn out like that.
I think the v1’s will end up being way more timeless than the v2’s. The colorways are a lot more versatile and timeless. Sure the zebras are rad, but that will probably look ridiculous in 5-10 years time. But i think the pirate blacks and oxford tans especially will age well.

Hey from 4 years in the future !!!! The beluga 2.0 in an 11.5 is 825.00 on stock x.. and yes the 350 will remain timeless.. The core black red and the Oreos are each way over a thousand .. but the main question I have is why does everybody run back to Jordan's? Their square and boxy. And they're like wearing bricks on your feet they are not soft and squishy and comfy.. I do think the Travis Scott look cool but trying them on they just can't compare to the ultra boost in a Yeezy .. 😔 I just don't get Jordan's
could someone tell me if my yeezys beluga 2.0 are legit cause the boost looks differend on the same pair, on 1 shoe it has more pellets and feels a bit differend on the other shoe the pellets are much bigger and feel a bit scretchy and on the outsole the little little dots are differend on both soles is that normal i got them from stockx tho but im scared cause the boost looks differend i will send some pictures would be nice if someone could help me tho
