Sure, I’d love to help! Are you trying to have Sam all in one solution that works like Google Photos? Or is it for business use to store RAW files? If you want something that will be easy to setup I’d go with a QNAP NAS based on Intel. Or if you have time to burn, you can go the TrueNAS route but you’ll arguably have more flexibility. Another thing, I’d recommend going with Seagate Ironwolf or Exos enterprise drives. That way you’ll avoid the confusion with CMR & SMR for RAID. As someone who work in tech and is devoted enough, yes. But for the average home user, most likely not.
