pretty ironic how my main samurai died on the day I was supposed to upload this huh?
For a while i always felt like the samurai was a very weak, boring class but after actually playing it properly, I realised how fun it was. i'd imagine alot of people may also be in the same boat, so I thought why not try to make a video to try and convince people to play samurai?
probably didnt do a good job but aye that's just part of the samba experience.

i was just about to say that, quite often you were pretty difficult to understand, it might be due to your extraordinarily deep voice (your norm is literally my deepest voice i am able to talk in), but also the fact that you were tired haha, i hope it gets better in future videos... still, very well made :)

I didn't realize how hard I was sleeping on Samurai until recently. Only thing I think that keeps people from playing it more is the relatively low skill cap/very unflashy. If they add a top tier waki that requires good mechanics, the class would probably see some good play.
yeah 100%, there needs to be some form of diversity w/ wakis because t7 is pretty much all you need in the later stages of the game
hopefully they add something w/ the shatts rework

I wish you included the St waki. It's does pure, huge dmg but no expose. It's shots also converge so it's easier to hit all shots, and you basically will always hit all shots on a stationary target. If someone in the group can already expose then it's really, really good

I have arrived on the 23rd hour as I needed to prepare myself for another Sxmba banger, I have not been disappointed
Samurai is the first class I maxed 88. I think its biggest strength is how average it is which makes it easy to start out with but at the same time that turns off a lot of endgame players imo.
In any case I enjoyed this video, might play samu again after a year break from it.
I also love your content about this game and think that the way you just pick whichever topic is currently interesting
you really is a good way to go about it when you are doing commentary like this.
If I had to think about a video idea it would probably be either about realms social networks which have great influence over the game and game play which can often be observed in events like the current one or a commentary about our decas reconstruction of most of the dungeons which is having its biggest highlight with shatters being confirmed for motmg.
Just my ideas though, any current hot topic is cool too, as long as you are invested I bet it will be fun to watch.

@@sxmbaLDN just wanted to update, so far it has been a blast! I am yet to get enforcer or the bp for it as I have few o3 completes. The class is great and has solid dps even without enforcer. Definitely a class I will be reserving a character slot for!

I made a samurai because of this video but I'm getting dcd from dungeons just by using the ability, not even spamming it or abusing it just normal mana efficient timely uses get me kicked, was this a problem back then?
nope, its a bug to do with bard that's an issue right now, any use of projectile abilities whilst inspired will DC you, should be fixed by next patch and you can spam to your hearts content

Eastern Waki is considered 1/4 a lot of the time because of just how easy it is to hit an expose on not just one enemy but a whole range of them, speeding up wave clearing and making the expose ultra consistent. On top of that if you somehow land all the shots it does around the same ability damage as Tier 6 so

I believe there is a certain waki in cursed library where you can get a really good waki

Eastern Winds is only 1/4 cus is easier to hit your enemy and inflict a 4.5s expose that in practice is more DPS to the group than a T6 Waki.
Exposed doesn't add 20 damage onto every attack but instead it which reduces the target’s defense by 20, which I'd argue make the ability more broken lol
