I once worked on the Icelandic island of Heimaey exactly ten years after there had been a major eruption that almost buried the island. There was a field of lava right outside where I worked and it was as still warm. After a decade. Seeing the results of a volcano up close is amazing. I'm sorry I couldn't return and see one of the recent eruptions on the Reykjanes peninsula. I used to hike that area back in '83-84.
I hadn't realised it could take decades for a lava flow to cool down- several years, yes, but not decades. But it might explain why the two lumps of lava I collected from the inside of a lava flow on Etna were still unusually warm to the touch when i picked them up. I know they came from inside the flow because they were solid rock, without the vesicles of scoria, and with larger crystals exposed. They were dark coloured, so might have been heated by the sun, but to me they felt a little too warm for that to be the reason.

We have it here in the Philippines. Taal volcano... Smallest but the history said it was once a big volcano that erupted and collapsed. Now a volcano in a lake, a lake in the volcano. And under alert level one . Very active.

What happens if one goes off it drops 10 15 degrees F after the ash an gases block out some of the sun an we can’t grow enough food to feed half of us let alone everyone Sadly we struggle with feeding people now even when we shouldn’t. So ya if earth fires off we have some issues

Well, considering that the simple fact is there's absolutely nothing we can do about it except hope the equipment is working, we have ample time to either vacate the premises or kiss our ass goodbye.

Watching these documentary's its easy to see why nobody is rely terrified of global warming. Its not like its going to wipe out thousands of people in a few minutes. Pretty sure we cant climatize ourselves to a volcano erupting in our faces.
The ring of fire goes through mexico city and i wonder if the plate techtonics is being pushed from the south, south american plate, as opposed to coming in from pacific plate to the west. Just as Africa is pushing into Europe from the south resulting in Italy's volcanic activity, i wonder if south american plate is pushing north into mexico - in conjunction with pacific plate from west, anyone know?

Volcanoes are one of the many reasons we need to start building only Tower cities connected to maglev Trains. And every city needs to start growing food indoors, vertically, with artificial light. Growing food like that is already being done. And building only T&T will save millions from floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, and CARS, roads, existing lead pipes and paint, and pollution of every type, poverty, and every cause of death. We need to end capitalism, the insane wage. And we need EQUAL wealth worldwide.
Thats right planet earth though it is where humans reside now it doesn't mean we started our here! #SetiEyesOnTheSkys. Also the fact that Earth spues sulphuric Acid and lava into the environment, ever heard the saying better out than in!?!😅

El Salvador is not that close to the equator. Krakatoa is.
No Crater Lake was once known as Mount Mazamma and became a lake after the eruption

There were space impact proxies found associated with this event too. These videos are old mismatched reruns. Bad info. But science is now dead, so.
I see programs saying Yellowstone will erupt again, and others saying it won't.
What's your take on it?
Would Mt St Helen's eruption have been as big without the landslide?
Watch for low flying 🦉 🦉 owls.
I REALLY wish they would stop re-packaging this eruption hypothesis show as something new. Its a well disproven theory and is very distracting.
What caused it then?
