I own a 2016 Z1000 and love it. I ride it mostly for canyons. It needs only a few things like steering stabilizer and stiffer rear shock but it's a great bike overall. I have a video in my profile with Vance and Hines slip ons and sounds awesome now.
ONE_BAD_Z How old are you? Tickets? Accidents? $94 isn't bad at all if you're under 27. I was paying $135 back in 2002 on an R6. I was 23 and had a bunch of speeding tickets.
+Ted Suehsdorf Agreed. I own one and get looks/comments all the damn time. Funny he should bring up price too since it is the cheapest naked liter bike that you can get. Unless you're a track junkie, who needs all of those electronic assists? The bike puts a huge smile on my face every time I ride it. What a machine...
Had a ‘15. Very heavy. But very fast. I’d eat up 600’s and 750 super sports all day. But alas, at 12,000 miles, which is a well known issue for Kawasaki, I lost fourth gear. Bent shift forks and rounded dogs. Kawasaki would do nothing for me. Traded her in for a real bike. A Honda.
How common is this issue? I just purchased a 2015. This is surprising to hear, seeing as I used to ride Kawis back in the mid/late 2000s and I dont remember ever hearing of any significant issues with their bikes back then. This is the first time in several years that I am riding again
Hondas bikes are crap now also. Have a look at the rust on 2019/2020 Africa twin models. TFT displays don’t work in the cold and wheels also rust like fuk
+Hans Zarkov It's Australian rhyming slang for "Grouse". Which is another slang word for something awesome. It looks grouse, means it looks awesome/great/amazing. It looks "Mickey Mouse", means it looks "Grouse".

is this issue apartment on '18 model??
@@akent46 I think they went to a slipper clutch in 17 or 18. But if not then yea, it’s an issue.

People in the west loves to make fun of this bike. Listen to his tone..damn!
WHAT is with the weird dramatic black and white effect in moments that are not dramatic or funny whatsoever. Overkill.
What did he say in Japanese?
Robert Brandywine sugomi
A vehicle that looks 'Mikey Mouse' is not a compliment in the states.
Hans Zarkov that's nice....

haha it' dat australian lingo
Mickey Mouse doesn’t mean good here in the UK either
Mickey Mouse in Canada means (cheap, or slapped together quickly), that kind of meaning.

Why do some countries call z "zed" and some call it "zee"
Historical reasons.
ZED is English where the language comes from, it's also used by Australians, New Zealanders & South Africans.
Zee is generally American English.
