    8th Waste? Good quick overview. But keep in mind Lean Construction Institute members have added an 8th Waste: Human Potential. We waste the brains, talents and hearts of workers when we don't leverage their experience and ideas. That's what Collaboration and Respect for People are all about in our Lean Construction world!

      D.O.W.N.T.I.M.E
      DEFECTS, OVERPRODUCTION, WAITING, NON-UTILIZED TALENT, TRANSPORTATION, INVENTORY, MOTION, EXTRA PROCESSING.
      The one you are referring to is non-utilized talent.

      @@abowles07 Yes! My preferred pneumonic. And the "Non-Utilized Talent" is the Human Potential. Good add.

    Need to change the voice over actor(does not sound interested in the subject) and lower the background music.

      Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the background music is way too loud.

      I agree about the background noises, I barely heard the man voice

    Hate to be contrary about Lead scheduling ..... but It is based upon just-in-time scheduling utlized in manufacturing. Anyone who has experience in construction would never rely on that method if he or she is interested in making the schedule work

    What is the penetration rate of lean construction in the construction industry in each region of the world? How many percent? e.g. US, Asia, Europe

    • @danfauchier7297
      @danfauchier7297 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Only know the US: The Lean Construction Institute members perform 29% of all non-housing construction in the US. However, they are not universally using Lean on all project. So stats from Associated General Contractors suggest that about 13% of US projects use "pull planning", which is one part of the Last Planner System(R).
