    Best video. You be original Enugu woman. Okpa needs just 4 ingredients - Okpa flour, palm oil, red pepper and salt. Shikena!

    • @AmaraUzodigwe
      @AmaraUzodigwe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks so much. As for real Okpa flour, check any Igbo market near your current base. But the only way to know that the Okpa flour you are using is real, is buy buying the Okpa seeds, then in same market take it to commercial grinders, and take it home to sieve it your self. Or give it to women who sieve for people in the market, but you need to stay there and watch them do it. The only discomfort here, is that you have to endure the noise from those grinding machines. Hope this helps.

    • @AmaraUzodigwe
      @AmaraUzodigwe  ปีที่แล้ว

      Tie it in A black nylon bag, Ensure you double the bag. Then put it inside an air tight container, I use big paint bucket to preserve it along side other grains. Then ensure you consume the flour before three weeks or at most a month.

      If you mean the one I put the already tied Okpa; the one in the pot is boiled water, it should be on fire while preparations is going on. But the one in the bowl before putting it in the pot can be any water, or preferably put in an empty container. You are keeping it aside just so you can shake it and put them once in the pot
