one love to all my fellow africans.. am nigerian but i will apologise to those other africans treated like the ghanaians.. lets come together and build africa as one
Wait, you mean Igbo people? I laugh, I am an Edo man, then it was Bendel, If tell you how Mr landlorld travel and see turned our area to that good old time, there is no way you will believe me. but then I was too small and I believed he was an Igbo musician. This song is still very fresh in my head till today. Watching from Central Europe.
@@austinbellbarbersclub6288 That's the point you believed he was an Igbo man because of how those Igbo people treat visitors. They never discriminated. Till today only those Ghanaians that lived in the east left legacies in Nigeria.
Listening to this music today 18/8/2020 and reading in media of the Ghanaian government locking Nigerian shops in Ghana and maltreating them makes my heart ache, where is the love that existed between us mainly Igbos and Ghanaians in the 80's ? that made me even as a small boy then to master Ghanaian music more igbo music, Am pained!
Everything will be alright my brother it is heart braking but like siblings that argue and fight…eventually we will make up!!! You know Ghana and Nigeria is like the teeth and tongue… one love one Africa
I very well remember this piece in a particular kind of way. This song was said to be an indirect reference to then- Nigerian government ( landlord) that had to adorpted a policy to expell illegal immigrants, most of whom were Ghanians living and working in Nigeria at the time, when Ghana was undergoing severe economic difficulties. A good piece this is, though. Thanks Stonefill!
Those that failed to recognize the cruel and degrading treatment of GHANIANS by our government back by we Nigeriain citizens when Nigeria thought they were Heaven, to the extent that a certain bag is known as GHANA must Go. We Nigerians should be ashamed of ourselves and unreservedly apologize publicly to GHANIANS for humiliating them then. Were are we Nigerians now??????
For the whole Nigeria Igbo Land was the only place Ghana was leaved in peace and take like brothers even they grab our language and we grab their' (s) as well. Even many Igbo boys can sing Ghana more than some Ghanaian . Igbo's are love
watch ur word this Ghana millions of Ghanians are still living in nigeria and there is no harsh treatment melted on them by their land lords nigerians welcome foreigners without raising without raising eyebrows

I grew up with this song as an important message on hospitaility. You may treat someone as a stranger today yet you can be a stranger tomorrow to.
