About a year ago i stubled across a local card shop. I was just getting interested into wiess schwarz so i decided to go there and preorder a hololive set to get used to the place and support. At this time and place however i was still a 30 minute walk so i didnt go more than like 3 times and so i still wasnt familiar to the place or people. But when I did there it was pretty busy, running about 5 games at any time, maybe 15 people, during non peak hours. I went back there to see when my booster box would arrive, post-release already, but they said it gonna take more weeks. I returned there about my 4th time but by then the shop shut down unexpectedly, all closed, tables gone, merch gone. The shops facebook and twitter intact but silent since then. It hurt to see in real time for the first time. I went on for longer than needed, but the intro just reminded me of that.
Dang! I'm very sorry that happened but thank you for sharing this. Earlier this year I found out something similar happened to an old card shop i used to go to for yugioh so I feel your pain on that one
I personally have never found TCGRepublic to have better prices than other JP sites. The main upside that I can see is you are able to order directly from them, whereas with other JP sites you need to use an intermediary and factor in potential additional costs.
Yeah, being able to get stuff directly is very nice. The prices are definitely bad for lower rarities but like I said in the video, I've found higher rarities like SPs up there for very cheap compared to their english counterparts. Definitely don't try to buy a whole deck from there but when I see an SP for 30-ish dollars when the english is $500? Heck yeah i'm gonna scoop that up XD
I absolutely love playing weiss schwarz, but there are 0 local areas to play where I live in Connecticut. I actually don't think there are any following in the entire state. I wish weiss was more popular.
Hoping one day me and my friends site will be the number one place to get Weis singles, playsets, boxes, cases, trial decks, playmat and sleeves. We already offer international shipping and have many happy customers in Europe and Australia. We just want to help bolster the Community! We are working hard on getting our inventory listed.
it depends on the cards. commons and such are way overpriced but ive found SPs that are ridiculously lower than their english versions so i included them based on personal experiences
