I am in this film! The second unit (the people that shoot the scenes not featuring the lead actors) shot the opening scene in my childhood neighborhood. They needed a housing tract that was located next to the desert. I grew up in Palmdale, California located in the high desert of California about 50 miles north of Los Angeles. I'm one of the kids hopping off the bus and walking away from the camera. Actually got more screen time (about 4 or 5 seconds) than any of my friends. I was about 13 years old. In your vid, you can see me at 4:30.
As a 1st time viewer of this series, you'll know when the dream happens when it happens lol. Out of all horror icons Freddy has always been my favorite. Part 3 is my all-time favorite
Dad: he used a cherry bomb Me: the birds spontaneously come busted in a cherry bomb, gonna do that after it was floating in the air and how what do you have done that the bird was in the cage prior to that
Banging these reactions out you lot!!!! Love it xxxxx (p.s You've now got me announcing with you and Donna, "At the time of this recording" lol). Please have a look at 'Psycho', 'Psycho II' and 'Psycho III' xxx
For a movie about someone that kills people in. Their dreams no one was killed in a dream. So you see the true problem with this movie every kill. Happened in the real world with dreamlike Powers around it. You picked up on that fact right away on your own. So you are starting to notice what makes sense and what does that make sense. That is a good thing especially since some movies try to do some really weird bs. For reasons that make no sense whatsoever and never will. Krampus 2015 is a good movie to watch around this time of year. Because this movie is actually about Christmas and it's true meaning. It's a horror comedy so it's appropriate for pretty much everyone. Its director is the same one that made the movie Trick' R Treat. Actually those two movies take place in the same universe. He made sure it had just the right amount of Horror but not too much. It is basically a dark fable. They seriously had to point that issue out and make that the focus of their argument. In order to get any of the Christmas songs in the movie.
@@SomethingCinema I know Wes Cravens movie The Last House on the Left it's on your list. But heres some suggestions before you watch it. One watch it during the daytime. He said it looked like a fun movie on paper but when they. Actually started to make it they went this is actually quite a dark movie. I'm not saying not to watch it because I think you should. Because it's Wes Cravens first movie and it shows how far he came as a movie director and scriptwriter. But you are good people and you should know. That its a hard movie to watch that it may leave lingering. Feelings of what did I just watch an you many want to watch something really lighthearted afterwards. I mean when the one that wrote and directed the movie says. He never wanted to make another movie like that again that says alot about that movie. That is way I have not suggested that movie myself. Because from what I seen of your video reactions. I tend to read the room so to speak and make suggestions an recommendations based off movies you watch. Nothing you posted a reaction to even suggest to me that you are ready for that movie. From the point of that movies subject matter because it is truly. Dark in subject matter both physically and psychologically. Seriously I can watch things that give people nightmares. I mean horrible brutal torture physically and psychologically. Then have no problem with it but that movie is almost even. To much for me I still have bonus features I never got to yet. Because that movie makes me feel not quite right after.
Out of all the Elm Street films, this was my least favorite one but I still think it's watchable because most of the elements didn't make sense but the more I've watched it, I enjoyed it more. Can't wait for you guys to watch Part 3 Dream Warriors, it's my favorite and the best sequel along with Wes Craven's New Nightmare in the franchise.
I wanna speak to those who were always confused by this one. So basically after Nancy got away and this new family moved in, Freddy goal was to take over Jesse body and have him kill for him, a host if you will. Mostly because Freddy original goal was to hunt down the kids of the parents who burned him in the fire and because Jesse and his family were innocent and had nothing to do with his murder, he wanted to take over his body, so that he can continue his killing spree due to not having any prey because nobody knows him. When Jesse touched Freddy's glove for the first time in the basement that's when he was possessed by Freddy allowing him to bring the dreamworld to the real world, so it didn't matter if people was sleep or not really. Also when he took over Jesse's body, it made him weak because he was able to feel human emotions and because of that, he took his own life so he can start fresh and that's what led up to part 3. He got stronger for part 3 to happen previous from part 2 to kill the rest of the kids who were at the pool party because now they know who he is. I am a huge Freddy fan and in my opinion he's the best slasher that ever made. That's why I say part 1-8 are classic, you just have to really understand each concept and Freddy's background to understand. If you get confused and hurt your head overthinking then its obvious, your don't know his full on full story
I can’t wait to see y’all’s reaction(s) to NOES 3: Dream Warriors as it’s my absolute *favorite* out of the entire franchise!! (Followed by the 1st and then Freddy VS Jason and _then_ New Nightmare.) _Anyway_ thanks for another great reaction, guys!!! _Also,_ I just *love* watching your subscriber count continue to grow!! 😊
You should get back to the Friday the 13th franchise. Cause Freddy vs Jason is a thing and i don't want you guys to be confused on Jason Voorhees side of the story. 13:19 this confirmed the fact that even while sleepwalking Freddy can mess with you. 33:25 😂 you don't have to go to Freddy, Freddy goes to you in your dreams don't matter where you go he always get you. Parts 4,5,6 and Freddy vs Jason explore this
True. It's ignored from part 3 onwards and for good reason too since having Freddy possess Jesse and kill people in the real world didn't really make sense in some ways.
Listening to the young lady in the dark sweater is like watching Scary Movie on the theatre scene. LOL Dont Go In There! Girl, im watching shakeaspear in love. Lol good reaction tho. No disrespect, it was comical is all.
I have to play Devils Advocate and actually say that the film played by the rules of the first film perfectly. The film was all the red head girl's dream. It's *her* nightmare all along. What's the Nightmare? Imagine being a girl and you're in love with a gay guy. You think your love is enough to change him, but as we see in the end, it's not. And that's the Nightmare. The first movie was a dream from start to end. It's bookended by those slo-motion jump rope girls in white. You see them at the start of the first film and at the end of the film, so that's how you know the whole first movie is a dream (even Nancy says "this whole thing is a dream" at the end). This movie used the same technique with the bus, to show that the entire film is dream. You see the bus at the start and at the end. While the first film dealt with Dream Science as a theme, this film dealt with Dream Psychology as the main theme. In the fist film it was all about exploring what dreams *are* and how they work, while this film was about what dreams *mean* on a deeper level. So that's where a lot of people watching this get lost I think. It looks as if Freddy is in real life but he's not. You can tell how Freddy wasn't wearing the glove during the "real life" scenes. The knives were just coking out his fingers. That was a clue that it wasn't actual real life but the dream state's version of "real life". In the first movie they show this multiple times like when Nancy pulls the hat out the dream. That was all still a dream. Or when you see that feather float out the window. This film did the same thing. In a sense the film was answering a question about Freddy in a way which would be seen as extremely politically incorrect so I'm not even gonna go there. And if I was the filmmaker of this film I'd deny any knowledge about that theme. But as a film semiotics grad the coding of this film is very clear on what they were saying. A few things that point to it are how the girls are always laughing at Jessie and the symbolism of the snake around his neck etc. That true trilogy of this film from a thematic standpoint is A Nightmare 1, A Nightmare part 3 and then part 7. Those three films taken together give the best impression of the story from Nancy's POV. That's the real real Nightmare. The defense rests your honor.
It cracked me up when Dallas gagged as that girl started kissing Freddy🤣😂. I loved the 3rd movie in the franchise Nancy from the first one comes back I hope you watch that one next. Now Drew you know she did not know that Freddy was giving her the tongue she had her eyes closed. Another movie for your list if it is not there already "The Relic"(1997) starring Penelope Ann Miller, Tom Sizemore, and Linda Hunt. I was based on a horror novel by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child and as Dallas shirt says the book is better. Although the movie is not that bad either.
First they tried burning me then they tried burying me, oh this is my favorite, they even tried holy water. But I keep on ticking. In dreams I'm forever.
I love this one!! Great reactions! Y’all need to watch the rest of the series! Freddy is my favorite horror villain! Y’all should also watch Hellraiser!
When Freddy was saying he had the brains and you've got the look...it's referring to a popular song back in the day from the pet shop boyz.....Let's Make Lots of Money!
Guys can get in a fist fight then be friends the next day unlike females. That answers why they’re friends after their fist fight on his first day of school. Lol.
This was sure a strange film, this instalment is referred to as having gay subtext, gives it a distinct identity. High recommendation for Nightmare on Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors arguably the best Sequel. 2 movies down 5 to go, those there's also the cross over Freddy vs Jason and 2010 Nightmare on Elm Street Remake, not sure if you'll do that one, whereas with Friday the 13th you've got 9 other installments.
@@SomethingCinema No rush and only if ya have the enthusiasm, not to spoil there’s a mini Easter egg in one of the films Jason goes to hell, good luck on the Freddy/ Jason Saga.
@@darnellwilliams8783 not at all, was more in regard to amusing moments, not many knew what to make of the film at the time, the dream rules were flipped, the dogs with peoples faces, funny lines of dialogue, the coach being spanked with towels, there were some moments that varied from subtle to obvious, the writers claim the theme was deliberate subtext. This has become a beloved film in the LGBTQ community, due to the queer subtext throughout. Its also known as the gayest horror movie ever made. The writer wrote the script to comment on the AIDS crisis, gay panic, and the angst young men experience if they struggled with their sexuality.
It's too dark for most people and I think the cognitive dissonance it brings up due to the themes leads most people to discount it. It's really sick and twisted if you look at it meta cognitively.
I just found your reaction to this one part 3 is my favorite but I think this one had the darkest ,scariest Freddy no jokes just Killin eventhough the creepiest scene to me will always be that little girl jumping rope and the banter between you always makes me laugh " so you just gon leave ?" that ain't none of my business " LOL 😂 and Freddy bites leg " I don't think she likes that" 😂
Damn y’all are FEEDING us! 2 Freddy movies back to back 😍 I love this channel. Watch the 3rd one soon pls it’s a lot better than this one. Wes Craven and Nancy come back
They try something different (obviously rush to the cash at the time…). I do appreciate they kinda didn’t depend on the final girl for the lead and the final act kinda reminds me of Beauty and the Beast 🥀
Also while waiting for Jurassic World Dominion hopefully you guys could watch the Netflix Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous series its connected to the Jurassic Park/World Movies.
Years ago when I was younger, I used to hate this film, but now I'm older tho my feelings and thoughts on this movie some remain the same, it's not as bad as I thought back then.
Jesse had issues with his dad..and that played out in his interactions with the Coach and Freddy. I truly think the Coach would have done some S & M with Jesse had Freddy not come out.
there’s a theory that this movie is an allegory for Jesse being gay. He goes to an S&M bar. The amount of male rear in shown in this movie He has opportunities to hook up with a girl that runs away from it. The innuendos of him being inside of me Freddy can be seen as his inner homosexual urges.
This installment is famous in the LGBT community due to it having gay like elements and vibe allegedly Freddy represents Jesse fear of coming out the closet.
@@SomethingCinema yeah, he wasn't out yet during the time of filming but was affected by it because he was scared of people knowing and he was harassed. He talks about it in his documentary "Scream,Queen! My Nightmare on elm street".
I hope you do all of them including that (dare I say decent) remake and then just rank them... By the way I would pay to see a comedy show with y'all (like they dope and naturally funny)
Y’all should watch the remake (2010). A lot of people didn’t like it, but I didn’t think it was that bad. I feel like you guys might get a kick out of it.
Whichever one of y'all that said "Where is your Bed" during the little sister jump rope scene; I love you forever. Because if that were ME; after I'd punched her, that would have been the first thing I asked.
One of the biggest issues people have had with this film is that Freddy somehow is in the real world versus the dream world doing all the killing through Jesse which doesn't make any sense at all given what was established in the first film and in the subsequent sequels too. There's a reason this one is considered pretty much the black sheep of the franchise. That being said, it's gotten more of a following as years have gone on partly due to the very overt gay themes throughout regarding the character of Jesse. I still prefer part 3 and onwards though with 3 feeling like the true sequel to the first film in many ways.
@@SomethingCinema It was definitely bizarre to go that direction. Even Wes Craven himself thought part 2 was a mistake and that's why he came back to work on part 3 ie the true sequel to the first film in many ways.
I'd take obscenely wealthy for a year. In that year I would buy, houses, businesses, and invest in multiple companies. So when the money goes, I'd still have capital.
Yeah… this one is _really_ something else. LOL. IMHO, it isn’t a _terrible_ movie. And it _definitely_ isn’t the *worst* film in the franchise. (Also, as a gay myself, I def appreciate the _mountains_ of gay subtext all throughout it. LOL.) But, the problem is that the creators of _this_ installment didn’t do enough research into Freddy and the Dream World. (Which is _totally_ understandable considering the fact that they had all of *ONE FREAKING MOVIE* to watch. The lazy SOBs. LOL.) Thus resulting is a NOES film that’s all over the place and doesn’t really fully _jive,_ so to speak, with the rest of the movies in the franchise. But, again, it’s far from atrocious. It’s just a weirdo in comparison to the rest. Thus making it the red-headed-step-child of the NOES family. LOL.
"He gonna kill everybody at school like Carrie." Lmfao idk why that made me laugh.
🤣🤣
Can’t wait for yall to see part 3. In my opinion it’s the best of the franchise.

This one had the darkest Freddy in the franchise and that's why even though it's not that good, i still prefer it over the other sequels.
It's too dark for most people and I think the cognitive dissonance it brings up due to the themes leads most people to discount it. It's really sick and twisted if you look at it meta cognitively.
We definitely see both sides
I just found your reaction to this one part 3 is my favorite but I think this one had the darkest ,scariest Freddy no jokes just Killin eventhough the creepiest scene to me will always be that little girl jumping rope and the banter between you always makes me laugh " so you just gon leave ?" that ain't none of my business " LOL 😂 and Freddy bites leg " I don't think she likes that" 😂
😂😂 Freddy is no joke
@@SomethingCinema facts
Ready for part 3.... Best one in my opinion!!
We are ready
Damn y’all are FEEDING us! 2 Freddy movies back to back 😍 I love this channel. Watch the 3rd one soon pls it’s a lot better than this one. Wes Craven and Nancy come back
That’s what we’re here for!
"Bald head scissorhands" lmfaooooo
🤣😂🤣😂
I love the beautiful poster artwork for the Elm street movies. So much better than the cheep photo shop of today’s movie posters.
We love a good movie poster!
🎬'A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge' premiered in theaters on this date (November 1) in 1985.
These movies get more and more comical as they go on.
Which is funny because we try iight this was a horror franchise lol
Love the reactions. After this you guys should check out Phantasm.
Adding to the list
I don't know if they ready for Phantasm 😂😂😂. That one!
Here are two more movies to add to the list.
(1)-John And The Hole-(2021)
And
(2)-The Boy Behind The Door-(2021)
Adding to the list
They try something different (obviously rush to the cash at the time…). I do appreciate they kinda didn’t depend on the final girl for the lead and the final act kinda reminds me of Beauty and the Beast 🥀
We liked that the focus wasn't following a girl too
I hope you do the rest of the movies. Movies 3 -5 are the best in my opinion.
We will watch 3 for sure
This was a nice video to watch I can’t wait to see the 3rd one next 😄
Thanks for watching it with us
@@SomethingCinema any time, all of y’all are so entertaining 😄
Thank you!
Also while waiting for Jurassic World Dominion hopefully you guys could watch the Netflix Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous series its connected to the Jurassic Park/World Movies.
We will watch that too
The Reason why Horror Movie Characters lie sometimes is because they know they probably won’t believe so like what’s the point
That's a good point
Years ago when I was younger, I used to hate this film, but now I'm older tho my feelings and thoughts on this movie some remain the same, it's not as bad as I thought back then.
Yeah it's not as bad as everyone says it is
He’s never had two gloves
😂😂
Dallas: Ey!!!!!
Drew: B…
🤣😂🤣
Jesse had issues with his dad..and that played out in his interactions with the Coach and Freddy. I truly think the Coach would have done some S & M with Jesse had Freddy not come out.
🤔🤔
The reason is he screams like that is because he’s got inner girl in him
His scream was funny not gonna lie
Possibly my favourite Sequel 🤘🏻
A lot of people don't like it
LOVEEE THE NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET REACTIONSS
We are glad you enjoy them
there’s a theory that this movie is an allegory for Jesse being gay. He goes to an S&M bar. The amount of male rear in shown in this movie He has opportunities to hook up with a girl that runs away from it. The innuendos of him being inside of me Freddy can be seen as his inner homosexual urges.
Hey guys are y'all thinking about watching Halloween 2007, that a good movie too
Yeah we have it on the list
Can't wait for you guys to watch Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
🔥🔥
Best one liners movie, kiss kiss bang bang, nice guys , just friends, last action hero, last boy scout
🔥🔥
Glad you guys are doing this. 3 and one of the later ones is my favorite. Out of the franchise
We will watch 3
I can tell they're going to be wide awake during these reactions lol
😂😂 how!?!
@@SomethingCinema 👁 👁
😂😂
Nightmare on elm street 2010 is the best and scariest one!!!!
Can't wait to check it out
This installment is famous in the LGBT community due to it having gay like elements and vibe allegedly Freddy represents Jesse fear of coming out the closet.
Really!?!?!
@@SomethingCinema yeah, he wasn't out yet during the time of filming but was affected by it because he was scared of people knowing and he was harassed. He talks about it in his documentary "Scream,Queen! My Nightmare on elm street".
That's messed up
I hope you do all of them including that (dare I say decent) remake and then just rank them... By the way I would pay to see a comedy show with y'all (like they dope and naturally funny)
Thanks for the love and support
I Love You Guys 😉 please dont stop with amazing uploads ( more videos )

Can't wait for the rest of the series for nightmare on elm street

Whichever one of y'all that said "Where is your Bed" during the little sister jump rope scene; I love you forever. Because if that were ME; after I'd punched her, that would have been the first thing I asked.
💛💚💙❤️
I Love Y'all Channel ❤
Thank you... we appreciate the love
You're Very Welcome 🥰
Would be nice to see "the Cube" movie reaction
Adding it to the list
One of the biggest issues people have had with this film is that Freddy somehow is in the real world versus the dream world doing all the killing through Jesse which doesn't make any sense at all given what was established in the first film and in the subsequent sequels too. There's a reason this one is considered pretty much the black sheep of the franchise. That being said, it's gotten more of a following as years have gone on partly due to the very overt gay themes throughout regarding the character of Jesse. I still prefer part 3 and onwards though with 3 feeling like the true sequel to the first film in many ways.
We didn’t get the way they made it like that.
@@SomethingCinema It was definitely bizarre to go that direction. Even Wes Craven himself thought part 2 was a mistake and that's why he came back to work on part 3 ie the true sequel to the first film in many ways.
It is so different from the others.
Where did you get the director board that was in the beginning?
Amazon
I'd take obscenely wealthy for a year. In that year I would buy, houses, businesses, and invest in multiple companies. So when the money goes, I'd still have capital.
We like that thinking! Thanks for answering the board questions!
Freddy or Michael? 👀 Who ya'll like more?
Big mike for sure! Lol
You should react to the halloween remake from 2007
We have it on the list!
You guys should totally react to the movie district 9 2009
Adding it to the list
LOL.
We agree... the 1st movie set rules on how Freddy operates... and this movie didn't keep those rules
Meryl streep was beautiful
❤️❤️
You guys check out Halloween Kills
We watched it but youtube took it down... it's only on patreon now
hey if your there i have a movie review request and its definitely monsters that im sure youll enjoy greatly
Ok! Will add it to the list!
@@SomethingCinema great and what it is is the relic 1996, Deep Rising 1998, and Tales from the Crypt Demon Knight
Got it!
@@SomethingCinema great dude and don't forget about some cool alien horror movies like the faculty virus and species
I'm the biggest Elm Street fan, but this one is a low point (the next one is the true sequel)
🔥🔥
