5:05 I started laughing because I thought you were tricking people into making a funny face...
But then I tried it and the bottom of my wrist lit up like a christmas tree, after 60 seconds of doing this movement my wrist feels amazing!
    Thank you Sandris 🙏

Thanks for this video Sandris! I think a lot of people don't talk about recovery in arm wrestling enough--it is one of the lost important things in order to have a long lasting career in this sport

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว

I think so too, recovery is probably more important than the training ☝️ thanks 👍

Thanks man, I injured my wrists on that exact spot from lifting a heavy door by using my arms only (no back/knee momentum) and the pain has been coming and going for a long time. Will try to incorporate these in my workouts.
Hope you guys crush the Australians 💪

Before i even watch im absolutely sure this will be of a great help not just me personally but for a lot of people, i mean i dont arm wrestle professionally or anything but whenever im practicing armwrestling or train my biceps my wrist in one of my arms kills me for the next 10 days in that exact spot you mentioned in the beginning of the video.
Please more of this kind of videos and specially for wrist and elbow pain.

Nice one Sandris I got that pain twice first time It happend from heavy wrist curls
Second time I attempt to do heavy side pressure with straight wrist from center with 67kg and did 7 reps by moving the weight few mm just some little movements it was going good and after the set the pain kicked in
And both times that I injured the wrist the only thing that actually gets unjured is the pronation

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thank you! And be careful you dont have to lift that heavy

How long should you rest after an injury, and when I exercise I don't have any pain but after exercising I have a slight pain

  • @ArmAthlete
    @ArmAthlete ปีที่แล้ว

What specific armwrestling exercises do you not do for heavy when you have this injury? I feel like supination and chopping down is out but wondering if I can still do heavy backpressure/rising, pronation, cupping and side pressure.

@ ah I see so is it possible I hurt that nerve badly? It happened a long time ago from a fight I got into when I was younger it always hurts a little bit especially if I lift heavy and it slows down my progress to

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว
