Welcome back. I have wondered a few times what had become of you. I have a unique perspective as it relates to the general theme of this video. I was a teacher for 25+years. In that time ai also ran 4 different business with some overlap. I am luckily retired now however I remember that grind. It was exhausting and left little time for myself. I didn’t realize it then but upon reflection in my later years, I regret that I put so much into the grind. I have three adult children in their twenties. I spent tons of time with them but I could have spent more if I scaled back. As a young married couple, we bought into the American dream and the keeping up with the Jones’s. I look back on a lot of unnecessary spending. The good thing is that my boys and I discuss my regrets and or mistakes openly. I want them to have a good work/life balance. So clearly I appreciate the break and the new future plans. I am actually looking forward to the vision you expressed. It’s what a lot of Renegades would enjoy also. And I 💯get not want to be pigeonholed as a creator. I enjoy a few channels because of the community aspect and discourse. It is lacking on this glorious platform. I thoroughly enjoyed your Ren reactions in particular. With Ren I have reached a level of fanboy enthusiasm i never have with another artist. I was a university lecturer with chronic illness and went half time last year to see if I could set up a mosaic studio from home as my main job, just in time to be ready when the university closed my programme and made use all redundant. So, once I am through my current relapse, I am a full time mosaicist! That was such a good decision, and I basically owe it to Ren's Genesis and Heretic tracks for the actual push. I look forward to seeing where this channel will go, just in time for Ren starting to release his new material 😊. He is filming a video to his new Tale called Vincent by the way, combining your love for art and music. You also reminded me of Brené Brown's book The Atlas if the Heart when you mentioned the meaning of being humble. Basically it is the research for a PhD / academic book on the language of human emotions written in a much more accessible style. Humility falls under the category of self assessment.b what I read so far is stimulating and thought provoking. Looking forward to new things to come.
