I found it very similar to Bvlgari MIB. I don't get great performance from it, very light on my skin. Extreme is still by far the best in the line
I love Spicebomb Extreme. Performance is amazing too no issues in that department and my bottle is from 2023. Cheers.
Really enjoy your content mate. Tested this on a strip yesterday, agree on the dryness. Looking forward to testing this on skin. My testing strip smells amazing today. Deep dry down is just so pleasant. Been after something leather that can dress down for a while. Hopefully this could be the one.

Hey Chris, I’m definitely interested. I am looking forward to the new Tom Ford Eau D’Ombre Leather. But it’s nice to have a variety of leather fragrances. Great video. And will definitely be getting my nose on this one.

Maybe you have to wait until the parfum version for the increase in the darker leather and incense
Love the spicebomb DNA, kinda dissapointing designer brands are scared to make anything that has some edge to it, feel like this had a lot of potential, kind of like a luna rossa extreme is what i thought, will def still give it a try tho💯

Ah I’m very conflicted I only have spicebomb infrared Edp and I love it and I’ve never tried extreme so was gonna get dark leather but now not sure if to get dark leather or the OG extreme:/ need to smell both

After hearing your thoughts, have you ever layered spicebomb extreme and ombré leather to smell how they work together?
Im not buying loreal any longer. I found a bottle of an older batch of spicebomb extreme and its actually strong and beautiful. New bottles fade and sit so close to skin. Curious what kind of private brands make good extraits that are super strong just so no need to worry about performance at all. Or maybe arabian brands have the same scent profile but stronger

I've already sold mine because of the performance. It smells really good but it is so faint and close to the skin that I just wasnt satisified with it. And that's coming from someone who wesrs fragrances for themselves without too much concern for mass projection.
The frustrating part is that the scent smells really really good but i just couldn't get enough of it even with the deepest and closest of sniffs. So - what's the point, in a world full of fragrances where there are better options?
You don't have to look too far for that. Spicebomb Extreme will satisfy the Spicebomb DNA you're looking for. And if youre looking for a similar style of leather then I'd recommend Blacks Club Leather by Shay & Blue. It has added booze but to me it settles down to a similar scent profile as Dark Leather with much better performance.

Tried on skin today. Leather accord is subtle, but nice. Unfortunately, performance was not great at all.
I've layered a variety of things on top of ombre leather but don't think I've ever tried sb extreme. I'll have to try that this Fall.

Was it like the leather in the new Bvlgari Man In Black Parfum? Also one of my most favorite leathers right now is Parfum d’Habit by Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier. That one might pack the leather punch that you are after 👊

Great review chris , it maybe just shows how great ombre leather really is, although i prefer stallion leather. I think this will be the cheaper option, so it will probably do well on release, but you do sound a little disappointed !

The OG still the best, it's just a balance of warm and fresh, fruity playful and seductive mysterious vibe, so much better than extreme.
If this one base on extreme, i think it would be same as extreme, can be cloying and hard to pull off unless we went back to ice age.

Probably. Both are better.
Finally tried this and I'm really disappointed, like you said the opening is really nice but nothing exciting, the leather is quite subdued. I thought the leather and "darker" elements would come to the front in the dry down, but there was barely any dry down, 1 hour after applying 3 sprays to my wrist it is totally gone and undetectable. What is going on here? It's almost faulty. So disappointed 🙃

While we had a super hot stretch here in Ontario Canada about a month ago, for the last month it’s been average temps at best.
Anywho….another great review, think I might be more interested in this new Spicebomb, than the Extreme, mainly because I’ve heard it’s been watered down recently

Holy Crap! Did you realize your steering wheel is on the wrong side of your car? Just kidding, can’t believe you actually get to wear a jacket in July. I knew British summers were cooler, but we’re roasting over here in America this year. I live in Florida, so it’s been summer since April. Great review, you’re the first one to cover this that I’ve seen on the web. Sounds like a wait until the parfum comes out. Be well, hoping you get to 100K shortly!!
Tbh it’s a cooler July than usual!
Give it time, my fragrances always perform better after a week or so, giving them a bit of oxigen seems to help

I was expecting a rich DARK Leather note with the sweetness of Spicebomb, but it is so light, and no Oomph whatsoever.

The trades description act 1968 must not apply to fragrances. V&R calling this "DARK LEATHER" is very misleading.
Sorry to be a law bore but that act was largely repealed in 2008. Notwithstanding, I agree with your sentiment. These TH-cam fragrance reviewers hand out 9/10's like confetti.
Spicebomb Extreme had been very badly reformulated. It used to be very beastly, it's now very muted. Maybe this is the case with all current Spicebomb fragrances.

You are so blessed you get to wear a leather jacket in the dead of summer! Here in Israel, where I reside, temperatures reach up to 50 degreed Celsius in July - and it's not even August yet! I personally despise the summer and the high heat! Would change climates with you guys in the UK in a hot minute! You got no idea how lucky you are

Ombre leather stanks!!!!my girl hates that stuff and most females I know but Spicebomb dark leather is a huge missed opportunity by Victor & Rolf it's light smells more like the og and projection is terrible longevity average the bottle should have had actual leather around it
