Good memories, good times. But what the franchise needs is a reboot of the series, back to basics and some carefully thought ideas to breath some new life into it.
Would be amazing if they revived this genre. It’s actually sad you can’t play strategy games like this on ps4 and 5, it’s the same type of games every single year
Within 5 seconds of this video starting I had already let out a relieved groan as the memories came flooding back. I could play this for hours a day. Command & Conquer Generals (and the Zero Hour expansion) was a fantastic addition to the series I must say.
My dad would come home from work and play the shit out of this game, Command and Conquer, tiberium sun, and generals. When I was old enough to play with LAN with him I would always drive my MCV to his base and build with him to kill the AI enemies. He passed away from cancer in 2014, and I would give anything to play this game with him again. 💔
I used to build a giant square island surrounded by water and with rocks splitting it down the middle. I'd put good ore on one side and standard ore on the other. I'd make sure I was in the good side and could easily win with a naval strike. Then I'd build a giant walled compound to put hundreds of men in and nuke them. But that was just me
This was one of the best computer games of all time. Remember playing this in 96 or 97 until about 2001. It was painful to watch this player let the other ore refinery machines grab the ore when he could of just blown them up before they dug up diamonds that will go to waste lol. Man I gotta play this again
Wow it's amazing how this brings me back to the 90's playing on my Packard Bell. It was a much simpler time, having fun and building Duke Nukem 3d levels and playing against Quake reaper bots
I received a ps1 as gift in early 2000s and it only had 1 game Red Alert. I played this game hardcore in my ps1 when I was a kid (8yrs old) and finished the campaign in a week. That was the first "no life" experience I had cuz I suddenly stopped going out to play with my friends (we play everyday). They actually thought I was kidnapped.
This was my first CD-Rom game. My best friend had it I stayed up all night playing it. Before I had CD-Rom I had a magnazox computer. Poor family so it took a lot for my parents to get a Compaq computer for us kids. Remember my dad made me read all the user agreements when installing this game lol.
I remember hooking up two play stations to two separate tvs and playing against my brother's or cousins and then having 2 computer playing the other 2 colors. What good time classic game
I remember having no clue what this game was until I was at my buddy's house. His family was loaded (and we were poor lol) he had every gaming system and his own pc and a pool table downstairs. I always wanted to play pool but he got me into this game and also my lifelong love of AOE and Civilization. I literally JUST saw this on steam and got it lol
Man… my nephew and I would play this for hours!!!! Link up two tvs lol.. wow… nostalgic af … When he’d send his spy’s and engineers into my unprotected buildings lol 😂
As a mid-to-late 90s teen, I pirated WarCraft 2 on seven floppies (approximately 10 megabytes in other words, and probably downloaded a 200 megabytes version of Age of Empires 2, but I never quite got into C & C until Generals. I might have to check this out!
I remember playing on ps1 and I use to learn how the game works on squeamish, I'd make the money where there base couldn't afford to buy a digger and I had to resell and wait for ever with no power then I use to build on the whole map.. then the game became slow lol I nit only enjoyed doing missions but my imagination went wild
This match could have been over after the first confrontation. After the enemy harvester was fired upon the enemy sent everything they had to protect it. When they were killed he could have just gone into an empty base and leveled it with the ground.
@SergiuHellDragonHQ: I love this game, and your videos but the "Silos needed" every 5 seconds..Im like BUILD A SILO LOL because you need the "cash" and yeah...JW in case there is a legitimate reason but why don't you build silos as much? Anyways, this was and is one of my favorite games of this "type" of game....As in FPS, RPG, etc....When I was a kid I loved C&C, C&C RA (the version in this video), Diablo II (The remake on Xbox one X is AWESOME!!!...And PLEASE respond and let me know if you know/enjoyed playing the game - Total Annihilation.....THAT game was also awesome!!!! Like C&C but in the future.
If ever I offended anyone while playing this game I'd like to offer an apology. Many years ago I used to play this and I was quite competitive and at one point I was ranked 5th in the world. If anyone recalls PummelU2, that was me!
One of the best video games ever. I have fond memories of playing it for hours in the 90s.
Agree. Played this for a few years straight
Same.
I’m so sad it got removed
affirmative
1v1 me! I haven't played in 25 years IM READY!
Lol the amount of “Affirmative” and “Yes Sir” that my parents had the endure while I played this in the house growing up must’ve been insane
"aWAITING orders", "ach-nowledged"
and the "unit ready" lol
Affirmative!
My dad played this more than i did growing up in the 90s 😅😅
ahahahahhaaha touche!
I used to play this game for hours in end into the early AM. This is where many of us honed in our computer skills in the 90s.
This, age of empires and StarCraft ❤
Yea, I love and played this and Age Of Empires till’ hearts content.
Word!
Good memories, good times. But what the franchise needs is a reboot of the series, back to basics and some carefully thought ideas to breath some new life into it.
My GF came back and acused me for not sleeping, and I did in fact not sleep.
Dune world with the worm's
Bate them to damage your rivals base 😄

man the hours i spent in this game, and building maps...it was so cool
I liked building maps as well. Seems very few others did though.. I still play on Cncnet once in awhile

Used to play this at my bestfriends house all the time. Sadly he passed away :/ seeing this game again makes me happy and sad at the same time
Rip to your bestfriend bro but god will always make us think of our fallen angels some way or another ❤️
I remember I used to visit my uncle on holidays and I loved watching him play. One of the best memories I had as a kid.
Klepacki is such a fucking talent. His music makes 90% of these games's atmosphere.
That sweet sweet hit of nostalgia
Can't believe how good this game still looks after so many years, I played it as a kid. It was the first pc game I ever played.
Kinda glad to hear the sound effects hasn't changed any
I found myself screaming at my phone after the player hesitated to build the ore refinery after building the barracks..."ORE REFINERY!!!!"
And then puts it as far away as possible from the ore...
he's a n00b
How about when he wouldn't repair the damaged refinery?
Wow it's amazing how this brings me back to the 90's playing on my Packard Bell. It was a much simpler time, having fun and building Duke Nukem 3d levels and playing against Quake reaper bots
I miss my childhood 😢
I would love to play this again as I never used even half of the map as there's so many available maps here
Bro the memories flooding in
the A bomb was such a joke in this game. Nuclear weapons in RA2 and CnC Generals were much more satisfying to use.
Loving the A.I voice. Very Vision. Tony Stark would be proud..
I just realized the Game Narrator or whatever he’s called sounds like Jarvis 😂
This takes me back. Good times

Watching you look for ore refinery is like crucial pain
loool
Dang i remember this playing in my ps1..what a fun nostalgia.
Does the AI still go into total panic mode when you attack its ore trucks?
Yup.
I don't about you guys but that time was really frustrating
@@merleatmo Still is. More so in light of 2020 standards...
It's perfect for multiple player
omg i miss this game... after many years..
This is the time I’d go back to in a time machine 😢😢😢😢 miss my old pals
Man, it's literally saying "silo needed" and you are ignoring... Just build the god damn silo!
Que nostalgia... Joguei muito esse jogo na minha infância, a uns 20 anos atrás.
This and Rollercoaster Tycoon were such amazing time waisters, back when we had no responsibilities
God take me back to these days
This was my first CD-Rom game. My best friend had it I stayed up all night playing it. Before I had CD-Rom I had a magnazox computer. Poor family so it took a lot for my parents to get a Compaq computer for us kids. Remember my dad made me read all the user agreements when installing this game lol.

At one point You're commanding more units in the game than England actually has in real life...
I would play this all day and night 😂
wow loved watching this, bought back so many memories from the 90s!!!
Loved this game, memories!!
Always build a barracks prior to ore refinery, so you can push out some troops and air support while waiting for the refinery :D
O melhor jogo de guerra rpg que joguei antigamente top demais! virava as noites jogando viciante.
Man… my nephew and I would play this for hours!!!! Link up two tvs lol.. wow… nostalgic af …
When he’d send his spy’s and engineers into my unprotected buildings lol 😂

You gotta come out the gate with a bunch of power plants , that’s how you get ahead in the multiplayer version
Was playing this on ps1 between 1998-2001

Buy a Walkman
I love this game so much.
Hear we go again, bring on the skirmishes
I used to like command and conquer Gold very much .
the first PvP i´ve play
“If you fail, do not return!”
This game is the best explanation for international relations/politics !
The new build menu really sucks. They should have a option to use the classic build menu
I remember playing on ps1 and I use to learn how the game works on squeamish, I'd make the money where there base couldn't afford to buy a digger and I had to resell and wait for ever with no power then I use to build on the whole map.. then the game became slow lol I nit only enjoyed doing missions but my imagination went wild
man, the nostalgia...
So much nostalgia 😊

Yes with cutscenes I think been over 20 years since I played this
Esse jogo era muito top agora não tenho mais ps1 😭
I demand Red Alert 4, beautiful at least Ra3, run at 60fps, can have at least 8 maximum players! Not this up-scale and jaggy animation! :v

Could have ended the game way sooner lol. But yeah one of the best games ever.
My teenager years.
Wish Xbox could make this classic playable
Great game hours playing it but did anyone else realise that it sound like jarvis from iron man ?
Not sure why, but I prefer the original low resolution version.
Is that Paul Bettnay as the AI building??
Build more Silos plz. Otherwise would wasting ores.
If ever I offended anyone while playing this game I'd like to offer an apology. Many years ago I used to play this and I was quite competitive and at one point I was ranked 5th in the world. If anyone recalls PummelU2, that was me!
