UK sports and US sports at university level are completely different leagues. I played basketball for Oxford and our facilities were a joke. We had very limited access to a sports hall shared by dozens of different sports, which was tatty and in need of a refurb. An American guy on our team said that if they had these facilities in an inner city high school in New York they'd be claims of racism. We were the best uni team in the country at that time and we'd have been crushed by any D2 team.
FYI as A British citizen on a visa, we sadly aren’t allowed to earn money through NIL 😢 just to warn you as it can result in being kicked out the country!
