I think your building well Almi, there is something to be said about using these races in the build up to Nationals, so as your coach will probably tell you, and you know this, there is nothing wrong in challenging yourself and going out harder with the pace. Looking forward to the next race. Rob

Strange thing social media. Watched this. Googled your dad (because I remember him). Had a look at the Ethiopian Road Race website (because I ran 5k there about 15 years ago). Saw the virtual 10k event next month. Gonna register (I'll run a double Parkrun that Saturday here in Fife)... Oh, and enjoy DC.

As a Georgetown grad and fan of many Hoya sports, I can't tell you how much I - and especially the Hoya running alums - are enjoying these videos. You're a very talented storyteller, and getting a peek 'behind the scenes ' and a glimpse of some personalities is really quite fun. Also, I live close enough that I also run on the Duke Ellington Track sometimes, and it's very funny to see it from this 'angle.' Keep up the great work! Run light, run swift!
such a nice message to open my laptop up to, thank you. I’m glad you’re enjoying them and nice that you’re still in the area!
As a Brit that lives in the US now, I still confuse Americans by using the terms session, training session, training or gym session. 'Oh my God, you mean workout and lift?' 😂
Hahahah the language barrier is a real struggle😂
Just start calling everything a "sesh." Anything can be a sesh if you want it to be. A track sesh, a gym sesh, a chipotle sesh. In America, the possibilities are endless.

Hey, Almi! I enjoyed this video!!! Watched this first because of the conversations we had in class about cooking and meal-prepping. Loving following your US journey, BUT Labor Day has nothing to do with the military (though it is not surprising that an American would think that, as we are a highly militarized society, as you will see when you go to a “big game”).
