Everyone is complaining about cards that weren't banned today, but no one is mentioning seige rhino escaped the bans. It's the most dangerous card in historic brawl.

It was efficiently costed for a trampling body with good stats that helped swing the momentum of the game in your favor, both by stabilizing your life total while weakening your opponent, potentially within lethal range.

I love midrange and I loved Abzan ever since Ghave, Guru of Spores was printed. Awesome video! Yeah, I'd probably play a legendary Siege Rhino commander.
While I typically prefer standard content over Brawl content, I will say that I prefer content that you are obviously enjoying over everything else. Seeing you enjoy playing, revel in the wins and wtf at the opponent's inevitable perfect top deck is such a pleasure to watch. Watching you love playing the game I love is the best possible content. Keep it up CGB.

At 22:37 when you had the tutor effect of the saga, it hit me right away. the correct pick would have been casualties of war; you could played it right away. stranding the timewarp, setting them back 3 mana und removing 6 power from the board. guess i would scoop to that play.
Would've been hilarious if in game 3 the opponent's commander text read: "At the beginning of your upkeep if this is your first turn of the game and the opponent hasn't read the text on your commander's card you win the game."
this is a cool take on thallia and gitrog, built the lands aristocratic type and your analysis is bang on, might shift it to this more mid rangey, at worst it looks more fun
Hello chat I'm hoping someone can help me with this question. At 38:47 CGB boardwipes killing two of his own creatures and two of the opponents, then reanimates his Seige Rhino. Meathook Masacre triggers and makes CGB loose 2 life because opponent had two creatures they control die, however didn't gain any life from CGB's two creatures dying? What am I missing?
Meathook Massacre is still in Alchemy, which means the version used in Historic Brawl is the modified Alchemy version that has the life gain part of the card removed. The opponent would not have gained any life.

Nah you're right. It's interesting to me because he's been shocked before that it gave him two creatures. CgB just has a lot of mtg knowledge in that head that's always swirling

I've seen so many lost mirror march coin flips from What the deck that I'm almost convinced that the card is bugged on arena. that being said, the biggest mirror march win I've ever seen was also on what the deck, so it's not a zero percent chance, not that it makes it any less of a scam
some years ago opponent got 0 cards in hand u replay with mirror march and cavalier multi times on 1 turn kroxa he lost 15 life through coin flips u won 45k special jank :)
Sad thing about the condition of magic. So many people are one dimensional in game play that it gets sooooooo boring. Reason I miss starcity games opens and stuff. Seeing high level players do broken magic stuff is always fun.
To me it seems like this: They are 3 and 4 mana noncreature permanents that do nothing when they come down. There is so much other value in this deck that they're simply outclassed :)

CGB is actually Kiki-Jiki. He breaks mirrors just through proximity, it’s the only explanation for the Mirror March game.
The first deck I made that actually functioned well was an Abzan coloured deck. It was pretty much what got me into magic. I love the Abzan colours.

Activated abilities have a colon. Triggered abilities start with "when", "if", or "at"
It's a triggered ability. Activated abilities are always structured cost : effect. Triggered abilities are When trigger condition, effect.
