These are very nice. I hate having mismatched boxes, I rather have all the same boxes, but when you buy a few of the same then you can never find them again. Plus the box of boxes is really nice. Thanks Steve.
I’ve been using similar boxes for about a year. I don’t mind them being different sizes though. My radio room was badly disorganized but these boxes went a long way to finally being able to find stuff!
Nice storage boxes. I have several of the DeWalt ones . Great for electrical screws . Wago connectors . ETC . I got the big kit for power poles from powerworx . And used them up and added to it. Keeps crimpers and strippers handy in a zip bag with carry handle . I had to make a outher one for the SB 50 /SB 175 / SB 350 and some PP 75 and outher anderson style stuff. They have so many that 1 bag did not hold bigger ones . 1 bag just for battery lugs and crimpers . I had to make a go bag just for MC4 stuff. Depending on the job. I pick what to carry with me. The car not big enough to bring it all. So many hobbies. LOL Cheers !
ROTFL Oh Steve you have started something. Most operators I know, don't throw anything away, we can see the endless possibilities for stuff. There is another group of operators, that have their "stuff" sorted, cataloged, itemized, and stored with barcodes on the boxes........ Me I just like old milk crates, its the nostalgia of my album collection. Great video and wonderful idea.
I use these same boxes to organize my vegetable garden seeds. It also allows me to alphabetize my seeds. 😂 great to see I’m not the only one with organizing issues
I use these to store board games rather than keeping the bulky boxes. There are 3d prints folk do for popular board games that act as custom inserts for the cases. I bet changing those inserts to accommodate tech/ham radio kit would be a cinch
Hello my name is Marvin and I am a hoarder. XYL uses them for cross stitch floss, i store QSL cards, radio specific cables, i have resistors in one case. Great idea.
You start sorting USB cables you suddenly realize you need tote bins, not small cases or bags. I just tossed a large amount of USB cables a few weeks ago.
Amazon Prime is a gamble. You are betting you can order enough times in a month that prepaying $15 a month is cost effective to cover the shipping. I have several of those Plano boxes for small electronic components that collect when buying ten online are cheaper than buying the two that you need for your current project.
If you are patient, you can let your cart fill with ($35?) and get free shipping anyway. Prime just means the item is in the local warehouse. They are charging you to do them a favor... And usually it's late on top of that.
Damn you! You are going to cause a divorce! I just ordered 2, and the wife is gonna be soooo POed at me when they get here. I told her no more toys this month. You made me break my promise. You are a bad influence... ;)

My dad taught me about same size boxes a long time ago... My wife doesn't get my obsession.
Agree, I bought some cases at HF, when I went back later, not stocked any longer
Great content, I am a professed "storage nerd." Never can be too organized. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I love ways to store and organize! This will make finding things a lot easier!! Thanks for sharing and great video!!!!
You got it dude! 😎
Nice find. I’ve used Plano for years but really like this setup. 👍
The plano are stronger, but plano doesn't make this thing.
My wife use these storage boxes for seed storage. Never considered using them for my radio equipment. Thanks for the video.
You bet!

We all have to start somewhere
Being organized is so great. One day I'll get there again, lol
One day at a time, that's all we can do.

Modular go kits are amazing!
That's a cool bit of organization.
Thanks Paul!
I'm a storage geek also. Those will definately come in handy!
Awesome!

I am lucky to have a good memory, I'm almost at the barcode stage yet. I can appreciate it when I see it.
Awesome setup.
Glad you think so! Thanks

We all of have issues. Don't we? 😎😎

Sounds like a great use of space!
Good for seed storage also.
Yes they are!
You hoard to organize! Now you must get your Feng Shui on! Thanks for the video Steve! 73
This is the only reason.
Always be binning. Painters tape and sharpies make for a great non permanent label.
yes! Non perm labels are the way to go!
The chipmunk voice on the FFW made me laugh out loud… 😂
I try to make it fun
Awesome idea!
Thanks!
I need this. My plastic bins take up odd space. No I have not played with meshtashic. If you have a Michael's store nearby they are showing on sale.
Nearby is an hour round trip for me right now
"If it fits, I sits." I can totally relate to the OCD factor.
I can see that about you
Between shipping, music, and movies, I get my value from a Prime subscription. Plus, I can say, "Oooohhh! YOU don't have PRIME! So sad."
I wish I got value from prime.
Fantastic, tnx Man!
Thanks!
Looks like a cassette holder
I'd assume these are more betamax size... But I've actually never held a betamax cart!
My OCD is getting really excited.
That's how I felt too
I put orange rescue tape on my power only USB cables.
Smart~
Banana plugs 4 mm
Qty 4 each

Exactly!
Within another 30 days you will need one of those cables you got rid of.
@suburban404 that is exactly how it works!
Will a QRP Labs QMX in a case fit? Oops. I guess if the QDX fits, the QMX will. Should have waited until the video was over to ask my question.
Actually I think the knobs are too tall to close to box.
If one has a little ADHD going on I have found clear storage cases a Godsend. Else I would be searching all the opaque cases for my target.
I'm a convert to clear cases now!
What pocket knife is that?

9:34 NO! Not an adaptor, you just ruined everything.
Keep watching, it gets deeper!

ALWAYS BE KNOLLING.
A.B.K. Brother!
-5 man points. Way too wife appeasing!
Wouldn't know what to do with a happy wife...
