I cannot say enough, good things about Graham Fellows, everything he does shows off what a talent he really is keep going John. It would be nice to see you in Wales sometime soon.
I met John after a show in Preston. Way back - think it was the same night that Series 2 of Juliet Bravo was being repeated on one of the cable channels. He came out to sign autographs but confided in me that he was secretly Asda bound, wanted to see if he could get a small bottle of Camp coffee and a tube of Germolene, just for emergencies; and as there was a 24 hour facilitation, he thought he might avail himself of the generous concession. Nice fella UPDATE - Seeing John on tour, in Feb 2025, in Norwich. Weve even got tickets. Ooof! 🍌
Yep I've met him after shows too. All floppy wet hair and with that 'after gig' look of energy spent. Such a good bloke as you say and in real life has his values and priorities and so forth all in the right place.
Only recently realised I’m becoming more like John, contented by the small things in life. Just returned from camping with Hector whippet on the Lincs coast and I have a metal mug that is one and a half times there size of a normal mug. This way I can save gas by only brewing up once.
In case people don't know, there are over 30 of the Shuttleworth radio shows available to listen to now on BBC Radio 4 Extra. I saw him perform once in Liverpool back in the 90s. I took a packet of Locketts with me in case he needed one.
If you get the chance to catch John live do yourself a favour and get along there; his insight into the complex world of sucking mints changed my life. Brilliant entertainer, laughed and laughed all evening.
Superb character comedian, and an excellent writer, very interesting and insightful video, had the pleasure of seeing a live performance a few months ago.
I could be ten pages into an assignment, on the cusp on finishing the dishes, engrossed in a deep duck feeding session, or awake for only a mere three seconds and my brain will just go 'SAVOURY NOOWWW'
Lovely men both of them❤️🙂 Love the lamp in his living room, £150s worth . Gutted to find out that ken is Graham too😢, I Ve been looking forward to the day ken would finally be revealed.
We've been to 3 of John's gigs since 2020 and each time they just get better and better... such a great character. Nice to learn some more about where he's come from and what goes into making him come alive. Ooof!
Last saw him in 95 and I must see him again before I kick the bucket. I think I saw him dressed as Graham once walking through Sheffield walking down division st. The penny dropped who it was once he’d passed me.
Been the same with memory all my life, the main reason I haven't performed on stage with a band for donkeys years. Noticed a few years ago that Paul Heaton has his lyrics on stage.
Is there any video of Graham putting the radio shows together? The way the characters talk over each other, and the timing between them is just impeccable. I’d love to see how he constructs these mini works of art.
Ha ha. That's what EVERYONE wants to see, don't they?? And I would bet that Graham Fellows will NEVER show himself in the recording process. As you say it's incredible craftsmanship and boggles the mind how he does it, but it would be giving his secrets away!! I wouldn't even say that this is his house!! I'm sure this is staged. And why not? Graham lives on one of the Orkney Islands. At least that's what I thought. Ha ha.
I realized how much I miss John Shuttleworth....absolute genius! Hope you are doing well Graham. I wouldn't worry about forgetting anything, your ad libs are bloomin brilliant! Look forward to seeing you on tour again sometime. think I'll have to revisit the radio shows on BBC sounds to keep me happy till then....or I may have to check the levels on our local reservoir...☺️🌻. P.S I saw a horse in a field the other day.....and it wasn't even midweek!
Don't stress John, followed your career and saw you when you came to Hull, prezzie from our son, you have a great talent for comedy and with Mary and Ken you have a few more miles in you hopefully ? ;)
I had more or less forgotten about John, until about 10 years ago my wife opened a second tub of flora. She wanted to know why I was laughing at that, and when I introduced her to John, she also became a firm fan. We saw him (again) in Belfast on Monday past. He's an oasis of calm in a turbulent world.
Watched john with my young son at Bury St. Edmunds theatre royal about ten years ago, parking was an issue and had to drive through a heavy snowstorm on the way home..
Come on John fire up the Austin ambassador and get back the road I've had the pleasure of seeing John a few times I never get tired of his act very funny man 😅🤣😂👍
Someone mentioned last night at the Little Theatre that John had moved to Leicester. That explains the odd photos that have turned up on Facebook. Graham’s a brilliant performer and everyone loves him.
Nooo Graham. I didn’t realise you did the voice for Ken too! That’s spoilt the illusion but you’re forgiven because your autographed book and message is one of my most prized possessions. Ever thought about doing “500 Spanish bus stops” here along Málaga’s Costa Del Sol? 😊
This is WONDERFUL to see. Backstage....John talking to Graham. How is it that we feel we know BOTH men. Sincerity in both. I think that's it. Unlike Ken.....who's a bit of a fibber!! Petrol money indeed!! Huh!
Some hilarious bits here when he's 'out of character'. He sometimes shows the same funny mannerisms as John, possibly Jilted also. Must definitely get to a show
Does anyone have that sketch where John was demonstrating receving sad news by phone, eg " My wife Mary has been knocked down by a bus? Which number" I love it.
Parker-Knolls are great chairs. We had one in the seventies that lasted until about five years ago. It was ergonomically perfect for a fat guts like me. I understand that they are still good, but I suppose people are buying the Stressless chairs now, but they're foreign.
Glad to see John & Count Arthur Strong on Netflix. Funniest duo I've seen this side of the plague. Cannot understand why we cant stick Michael Macintyre , And & Dick down the chute. We need something fresh for goodness sakes on BBC, ITV or Blaze ( Freeview ).
I might be the only person to ever have been asked to leave a John Shuttleworth gig!. My son has aspergers and wouldn't stop asking questions and it pissed other audience members off no end. I fed him sweets but I couldn't make him shut up and people got angry. He kept asking 'Is John Shuttleworth John Shuttleworth's real name?' 'Did he really buy a toaster on ebay?' 'Was Michael Jackson Michael Jackson's real name?' etc etc
Been listening to John Shuttleworth from the beginning, one of the funniest comedies ever. Graham is genius.
Poor bugger, I dint know it wor so bad that t'lad ad to flit to Liecesesesester.
We shoild start one a them fundraiser jobs to bring im ome.
One of the greatest comedy geniuses of our age.
Now he's the only true comedy genius left!!
@@davidsanderson5918 you said it !
John Shuttleworth and Count Arthur, two of the best. Xx
hear hear!
I really do!
I met Mr Shuttleworth st a book signing in the 1990s . I gifted him a box of cotton buds so that he could clean his tape heads. He was thrilled.
I cannot say enough, good things about Graham Fellows, everything he does shows off what a talent he really is keep going John. It would be nice to see you in Wales sometime soon.

All of them gems. Listen constantly.
Good shout
So honest this short clip Graham thank you, a wonderful little insight into your own life and that of course of the younger John’s 🙂
Going to see him for my birthday and am properly excited
Seen John five times, always a joy.
If you get the chance to catch John live do yourself a favour and get along there; his insight into the complex world of sucking mints changed my life. Brilliant entertainer, laughed and laughed all evening.
John Shuttleworth and Count Arthur Strong are two geniuses.
Wonderful 🙂❤️
Came across this after watching his updated 'Gordon is Moron'. Wonderfully funny. Perfect comic timing and observational comedy...
Thank oof that he's back, I couldn't go back to savoury now.
Superb character comedian, and an excellent writer, very interesting and insightful video, had the pleasure of seeing a live performance a few months ago.
Once seen, never forgotten.
Very funny, and touching too!
I could be ten pages into an assignment, on the cusp on finishing the dishes, engrossed in a deep duck feeding session, or awake for only a mere three seconds and my brain will just go 'SAVOURY NOOWWW'
So wonderfully, touchingly honest and so relatable. "Socially diffident", hilarious, brilliant, poignant and THANK YOU! 🤗
Count Arthur Strong plus John Shuttleworth. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Absolutely genius character s together. Thanks ❤
Wonderful, thank you 😊👍

Great personality, loved your jilted John song 🎵 and you threw me with your character John shuttleworth lots of best wishes for your future career.

Had the pleasure of seeing John shuttleworth in Liverpool a good few years ago and I still laugh at the story of the Toaster . Killed me 👍
Absolutely brilliant. Definitely want to see him live.

Brilliant, so talented 😍👍
National treasure Mr Graham.
A very talented man.
Great to see some new material thought most was ad lib when on stage
No, if you see a couple of gigs on the same tour the material is almost identical.
I love this man❤
GENIUS.
I had more or less forgotten about John, until about 10 years ago my wife opened a second tub of flora.

Saw John in Sheffield at the crucible theatre,he is unique and clever...you either get him or you don't.. I love him.👍
only just found this! I do hope he never retires :0)
Magnificent!
that documentary he did about himself on Radio4 was lovely.
A lovely honest insight into his life. Have the pleasure of going to watch him live at the Birmingham Town Hall on 4th may, I can’t wait.
A brilliant man!

Excellent
John Shuttleworth is to music what J S Lowry is to fine art.
Lovely
Drool General, love bro

Love JS.
Should have a full sitcom of this with Mary and Ken

John Shuttleworth for eurovision then I would watch it.
GF is a national treasure ... amongst the cognoscenti.
When he "make's a face" I see Jilted John as clear as day.
I’d be interested to know what type of car John drives and its registration
I might be the only person to ever have been asked to leave a John Shuttleworth gig!. My son has aspergers and wouldn't stop asking questions and it pissed other audience members off no end. Brilliant 😂
Comic genius. As is steve delaney.
I saw Jake Thackeray in Graham for a second
What's the price differential between a mug or a cup?👍😜
Rotherham, Lincoln, Leicester, like a very slow Dick Whittington
…Everybody talk about…pop music.
Is John Shuttleworth and Greame Hall from Dogs Behaving Badly the Same Person !!!
Is this the guy with the sausage roll thumb?!?!
I've declined the Britney Spears concert. Sorry. But I do appreciate your work.
The best song John did was My Austin Ambassador Y Reg.
Brill little film, this. Oof!
Wait! John and Ken are the same person?????
how do you feel about the riots?
Not as nice as John's house in Sheffield 😅
