    I had already started my haed and had completed 8 pages when I got the pattern keeper. I uploaded the chart into pattern keeper and began the dedious task of marking every stitch I already did. I took me about 3 hours. I wish I had seen your video where you can highlight the entire page and mark it as stitched. Now I know! Thanks!

    Thank you for this I have just installed it on my tablet and this has helped me a lot. It makes a change for something to be available on android rather than apple devices. Thank you again

    I've used it on full coverage and a sampler. The main problem has been the system reading some patterns but I hope that's something they'll adjust in the future.

    I loved the video! Do you know if this would work with blackwork? I am looking for something for blackwork embroidery patterns as well.

      I think it was developed more specifically for full coverage pieces, but if you join the stitching with pattern keeper Facebook page you might be able to find your answer 🙂

    This app appears to be still in early release two years later... Is that right?

    • @Madebyky1
      @Madebyky1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Technically it’s not but I’m not sure if it just says that as it is constantly being updated with new features. From what I’ve seen over the years I feel like it will constantly evolve as people make requests for improvement

    How did you get your pattern in there that's what I can't figure out I have everything downloaded but I don't understand how to download your pattern and to the pattering keep free trial

    • @Madebyky1
      @Madebyky1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Easiest way I have found is save your pattern in Dropbox. Open pattern keeper & click on the + symbol, choose drop box and follow the prompts 😊

    I don’t want to stitch from paper charts any more but I can’t seem to take pictures of my paper charts and have it work. Suggestions? I don’t want to give up great charts because they are paper and won’t upload!

    • @Madebyky1
      @Madebyky1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately you can’t upload paper charts as they need to be compatible with the app. Many designers are now ensuring their patterns are due to the growing demand.

    Have not been able to get any patterns imported. It said free trial, but have not found a price anywhere. Do you know how much it is? I might like it if it ever imported any of my patterns. It keeps telling me it is in beta.

    • @cathymayfield2064
      @cathymayfield2064 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @Madebyky1

      How frustrating 😖 I’m not sure on every compatible designer as there are heaps with more added all the time, but if you join the stitching with pattern keeper group on Facebook you will be able to find lots of info in the files & announcement tab, or you can ask the group a question 🙂 It was approx $13 AUD/ $8 USD

    • @Madebyky1

    What are the minimum system requirements for Pattern Keeper?. I have an Android Tablet about 2 years old and when I try to install it the message comes up that my device is not compatible with the software. Any light on the subject would be appreciated very much as it looks like just what I am looking for.

    • @Madebyky1
      @Madebyky1  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So sorry, I’m not 100% sure on the min requirements, maybe your tablet just needs to do an update? ..if you jump over to their Facebook page - stitching with pattern keeper, the actual developer/admins will be able to answer your question 🙂 It is an absolute game changer in the world of stitching that’s for sure! Best of luck!

    Can I use this for stamped crosstitch?

    • @Madebyky1
      @Madebyky1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure, I’ve never used a stamped kit. There needs to be a correctly formatted PDF pattern to be able to be used in the app 🙂

  • @trinaportner4125
    @trinaportner4125 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @Madebyky1
      @Madebyky1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It needs to be a pattern by a supported designer or made with supporting software. Unfortunately normal pdf’s aren’t comparable. Jump over to the stitching with pattern keeper Facebook group 🙂

    Thanks for the video. So far - I am gathering from you and others that his app is only useful for HAED patterns and only if I've bought the .pdf format of a HAED chart. is that correct? I think I will wait for a more universal app supported by Apple which I am sure will go beyond HAED patterns and even more user-friendly features.....

    • @Madebyky1
      @Madebyky1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh no not at all, there are many designers now supported 😄 Jump on their Facebook group Stitching with Pattern Keeper all information can be found there. You do need a PDF version of the chart, however if you have a non PDF haed email them as they are pretty good helping out 🙂
