I say this often, but Nick DePirro is insanely underrated as a guitarist and he should seriously be considered up there with Tim Henson and Tosin Abasi as a modern great. And Aric Improta is the best drummer of the modern era and quite frankly my favorite musician of ALL TIME. I can't stress enough how talented this band is. Pushing the boundaries for sure. Best instrumental band of all time too.

Definitely agree. I hope more folks start to listen to them.
Ngl, AAL doesn’t always grab me. I find it’s technical for the sake of it. Night verses music grips me. It’s more of a narrative to my ears and the albums flow much better.

100% agreed, I listened to his twitch compositions even before I found Night Verses and when I found out he was the guitarist it made a lot of sense. I feel like Reilly Herrera goes underappreciated compared to Aric too... that bassline after the first chorus is crazy good, and he has such great presence on all their songs in general.

Night Verses is sick! Really liked their last album From The Gallery Of Sleep. Was happy to hear they came back from a 5 year hiatus and are back at it again. Aric Improta is a machine of a drummer and easily one of the best drummers in the heavy music scene! \m/

They used to have a singer, who is the lead singer of The Sleeping. He was pretty good, but these guys decided to become an instrumental, post - metal project because I think it suited them better.
