I had to change my battery...I tried to start it too soon and too many times so I had to disconnect the batter for a few minutes and try again..I waited about 30 mins and it was able to start. This was a life saver I almost had it towed!

This Happened to me today. I tried using a boost at first but this happened so I figured it was the battery. I decided to get a new battery and replaced it but still the issue still persisted. I decided to check youtube and your video came up so I followed your steps and the car started! Thanks! and I have subscribed!!

This worked! If this helps anyone else, this was my experience;
Car battery died on my 2006 Lexus GX470 (not exactly sure why but must have left something on). Charged the battery but then the lights in the car (computer screen) were coming on without the key even being in the ignition or accessories being on (perplexing). Put the key in the ignition and tried to turn the key, but it would not allow it. Because the key wouldn't turn, the vehicle was stuck in Park with the windows rolled down. Removed the negative terminal for several minutes and hooked it back up. Used a screwdriver to open the panel near the shifter. Pressed the button while pressing on the brake and was able to move the car into neutral and back to park. Lights and sounds came on like normal and although the key finally turned, it still would not start the car. Turned everything off and let it reset for 15 minutes. Came back and the car started up just fine.
This video definitely helped because I had no reason to suspect that simply waiting a few minutes could have resolved the issue. Thank you SO much for this! 👍

@@Vipergreen1 its a auto window so go to each window push it down and pull it up the the window rests and every thing should work
took all the wheels off for painting put them all back on after a week when they were done n the car dont start there was a light left on so we left it to charge all night n it still does the same thing as yours does with the check vsc light and says vsc off

So my car was doing the same thing but I didn’t change the battery or anything like that. I had probably caused the problem. I was turning the car on and before it did it’s check I moved the car into gear and it shut off. I’m currently waiting for a tow truck bc my dashboard says to check the cvs and the traction looks like it’s off as well as a p/s light

Why I did was i locked the car and unlocked it and it worked for me

But why does this Car do this? What if you need to jump start the battery when the battery is not completely dead yet? How can you jump start if it to be reset 😒
Because when the CPU senses zero voltage ( disconnected battery ) it goes into reset mode.
It didn’t work for me I ordered a bush to start button see if that will make it start

Hi can you answer my questions please. Two things.
My 2007 Lexus IS250
1. my cigarettes lighter the front doesn’t have power the second cigarette lighter it’s working. I check all the fuses and replace them and still don’t have power.
2. My gauge display where you can check for weather or gears, doesn’t show anything’s all. Everything’s working except the display. The little LCD.
Mike Apila change your fuse , under the passenger side footrest there’s a fuse box look for then right one it’s like couple dollars and it’s easy to change

WHITE DEVIL yes I did check your fuse in the driver side and passenger side. Mine blown fuse in the passenger side

Please I need help my IS250 battery was dead. So I borrowed battery to start the car immediately it started, I then removed the battery I borrowed then replaced mine, after like 5 minutes I turn it the car and start it again it worked, later I turned of my car came back to start it the car didn’t start. I borrowed someone else battery yet it didn’t start. Please I don’t know if anyone here have a solution to this, I seriously need help please 😢
I installed a new battery after my old one died while sitting and now my horn blows constantly when i hook up the new one😢 15 minutes of horns 😟 also my drivers door lock actuator is inoperable.
Hold down the unlock button it will lower all your windows to get in.
I have a Lexus is350 AWD battery died, put a new battery in nothing. brought it to Lexus they thought it was the starter now they put a new starter in nothing. NOW they are saying it needs a whole new harness because the wiring is all jacked up and that will cost 8,000$ we brought it to another shop as we speak 7-24-19 so we'll see what happens. IF you guys have any information please MSG me thank you.

When ever you replace or disconnect your battery on a Lexus you’ll need to reset your car and with all doors closed and windows up, hood and trunk closed, simply open and close the driver’s door 3 times this will reset your car and it will now respond to the keyfob and start...!!!

Whats the solution if my hood has some slight damage and won't close all the way?
Never have this kind of problem,the only thing you will have to Wait for the navigation screen to boots up and you may lose some station setting that you created earlier
