So this book was written by an Egyptian? I found the premise of this story to be close to the Bible I read. I think all Christians understand that we received shame and torment due to the decisions of Adam and Eve. I like the commentators use of the words tail, myth, and speculation. Clearly an archaeological find can be interpreted in any aspect they choose. So who wrote this book? Did they know Adam and Eve, have contact with them. Religion was created by mankind for IMHO 2 purposes. Number one to explain nature and why things happen and number two to control men. Historically religion has been front and center in cultures and governments. Kings and rulers were given status of up and coming gods, like new gods. This was done so men would fight and die for these governments, usually because if you were to die in battle you would be given a place of honor in their gods kingdom. Actually today it's not really that different in some countries socialism and communism is the new religion. That's why in these countries all traditional religions are forbidden.

Are you asking about life after death because that seems to be the basic tenant to all religions. Nobody knows because you have to die to find out.
