Hey, my friend.. I call you that because we're somewhat kindred spirits LOL... So now I'll explain.
I originally came across one of your videos because I was searching youtube for an install video on stainless sinks under granite countertops.
That said... your video was extremely helpful, and now I understand how to properly reattach our kitchen sink that dislodged itself, due to poor new construction build.
However.. after your sink install video... youtube then sent me to your "MX crash" video... for which totally stopped me in my tracks (pun intended).
At 63 Y/O... I've been an avid MX racer (now fan/ follower) since 15 years old.
That said... I'm also guessing you too were watching as Tomac beat out Sexton for the overall championship at Fox Raceway this past Labor Day weekend? (thanks in part to Sexton's 3 crashes in the last moto!) Btw.. I also noticed your "Sexton 23" T shirt worn during this video LOL.
Now... regarding your current injuries... my heart and prayers definitely go out for your quick and complete recovery... for I too (as any MX racer) know this truth, "It's not a matter of if... BUT WHEN we'll get injured!"
That said... though your (latest) injuries were probably more severe than my own... I too have had multiples of serious injuries over the years... the worst being my "burst fractured L-1 vertebrae (age 42 in 2001) that required a fusion of T12 to L2...
Not to mention another compression fractured T5 and broken collar bone (in 2006)... that finally caused me to call it quits!
I'm extremely blessed to have not been paralyzed and now totally back to normal... while have long since traded my "MX boots" for cycling shoes... enjoying life as a competitive road cyclist...
Though I totally enjoy cycling... MX/ SX will always remain my first love LOL. But just as Brock Glover commented (a few weeks back), "It's more fun now... watching without the risk!"
Blessings on your new life's passions ahead.

Thank you for subscribing and for your kind words. I too am lucky to still be walking. I struggle everyday with wanting to get back on the bike and ride but I know that I can not. As you know older people just break when they hit the ground. MX will always be my love because no sport can compare.
I am also considering cycling or possibly go cart racing. Not sure yet.
Friday I lose the crutches and will be free again.
I am going to start to clean up the new lot with the mini excavator. Videos coming soon. Next chapter of my life has started.
      Thanks Again!!!
