I last saw Mr Plant at Knebworth back in 1979 - so good to see him still on form and enjoying music. Great duo, and band. PS, I'm still playing at 63 years old, with no plans to hang up my guitars any time soon either.
The place was sold out. The crowd was very loud , went nuts when she was introduced, and went even crazier when Plant was introduced. They played about an hour and a half. This is the first show of the tour and the 100th anniversary of Cains ballroom.
I believe they made a second album together but I forget the title. The first was Raising Sand and the Second is Raising.... something. The Roof , maybe? Not sure
Ravinia show, June 12 2024 was amazing. They sounded so damn good. Been listening to Mr. Plant since 72! Saw their last show in Chicago in 1977. Packed house, perfect evening. Just beautiful.
That's Alison's younger brother Victor playing acoustic guitar to her right behind her. He's a very good upright bass player his main instrument. Has played alot with lyle lovett
Exquisite together. I saw them a year ago. On another TH-cam video, someone commented how they have no chemistry and don’t look at each other! It’s just the opposite. They are so connected!
Two icons of their music genres playing in what looks like a church hall 😂. Jealous of the people who got to see them up close. I’m so glad Alison & Robert found each other as their voices blend wonderfully.
She has a very odd posture for a singer. What an amazing version, they harmonize so well and both sound so good. And that dude with the maracas is the man!
I think she is totally out of her element with the Led Zeppelin tune and her body appears constricted. But by the end of the song she hammers it home. IMO, I am not a musical intellect.
I promise you that if he hated it he would not waste his energy performing it. Yes he might be bored of it but he is keenly aware of how important of a song it is in the universe
I liked it better when she sang with Union Station. Hers and Plant’s voices do nothing for each other. Her voice is too beautiful to be hidden in this partnership.
I’ve not heard him say he doesn’t like Led Zeppelin. He’s much more forthcoming about the band these days, and he’s proud of what they accomplished and what they were. He’s just not the same guy he was almost fifty years ago.
Robert Plant never said he did not like Led Zeppelin, the lyrics came from a guy in his early 20s so he just cannot relate to some of them now...Robert is aware that there are Zeppelin fans that go to see him, so maybe he's put Zeppelin songs in there for that reason..
@brendanewland6636 did you just become an lz fan lately? When the levee breaks was written by Memphis Mini about 1927 . You can hear the original here on youtube
@@rustneversleeps01 What does that have to do with what she said? She’s most likely referring to STH, of which Plant had reportedly over the years not been a fan of. He has since set the record straight, saying that he just finds it difficult to relate to the lyrics he wrote back when he was in his early 20’s.
@cuda426hemi You can question my taste all u like my friend, cause I prefer this 2024 version over Zepelin.I appreciate Zepelin,I was listening to them back in those days, but I'm like Robert I don't want to relive 52 years ago.I Love The Plant And Alison Times.
Remembering the late great Sandy Denny while I watch this 😢❤
Beautiful Alison has the voice of an angel.

Good for you
Plant's a vocal God but he's also very fortunate to be doing two part harmony with Krauss. These two compliment each other beautifully.
saw them play last night, what a wonderful show
"The Ringwraiths ride in black...ride on....." The imagery of Middle earth and Tolkien is so vivd in this song!!!!!! Always loved it!
Me too!

Do you know the capacity?

I hope like hell fire 🔥 it was loud¡ very loud¡
Never miss a listen to RP and AK,
A pair of voices that make you know Heaven is On Earth.
Never Disappointed when it comes to Mr. Plant🎶
Nice!! Glad to see these two playing together again.
What! They are still touring together in 24’ wow, I love that! The album they made together like 10 years ago was so good I’m glad to see this.
I believe they made a second album together but I forget the title. The first was Raising Sand and the Second is Raising.... something. The Roof , maybe? Not sure
2 professionals... Wonderful... Great
This is so beautiful. Incredible version. 👍
Absolutely!
Just beautiful...truly fantastic
wow. bring it back.
Damn! Both sound incredible
Pure gold I tell ya pure gold!
Thumbs up even before listening, not dissapointed No !
So good to see RP is still on form.
If there is another Lion the Witch remake then here is Aslan.

These might be the two finest vocalists that the planet has been graced with, so happy to hear them together again!

I am remember zep were offered almost a billion dollars for a world tour. Plant declined it and was 😮seen later playing a constantina in a English pub

Wonderful
Thank you! More please 🙂
Robert Plant - Legend - enough said !!
Saw them at Hyde Park a couple of years ago. So brilliant, loved it so much!! ❤
They're going to be at Ravinia tonite. Wish I was there.🌈🔥⚡🎵🎻🎹.
My Fave Zep Song.❤

This is great 👍
This was beautiful.
They sounded really nice! I bet that had to be amazing! They should collaborate more
Legends!!!
Did this in Tusla ?? Maybe hope for the rest of us .. 😄
Amazing ...❤❤❤
COOL!!! 👍
God Bless Sandy Denny. 🙏🏼☮️💗🌸
I was there !
Alison has an Angel voice ❤
And a great figure
Robert Plant still leading the way to great rock. My man
Good combination of voices.
I absolutely agree, although I feel 'good' rather understates it!
Sublime
It's so beautiful to hear Allison and Robert like this. It brings calmness to my mind. 8 - 1.
going to see these cats at the vienna wolf trap next week it will be my fourth seeing them
I’ll see you there chuckriley! I was so disappointed last year when they had to cancel😬. I’m stoked.
I really enjoyed the show …How did you like it? I looked for you …
Check out Billy Strings doing battle of evermore, live at an Asheville NC Halloween show , right here on TH-cam

Not a shadow of the original tour.
Shit that was superb.
Plant's still got it, and Krause gets it!
Plant sounds great.
💪
Poor Robert. He hates this tune but still has to perform it. Gotta respect his devotion to the fans
I promise you that if he hated it he would not waste his energy performing it. Yes he might be bored of it but he is keenly aware of how important of a song it is in the universe
I don't get it!!!!!!!!!!!!
thats an unexpected duo
word? They have a few albums together dating back a decade
@@jamesasc7709Raising Sand came out in 2007...✌️
@@TheRoomfull good googling, thanks. unexpected duo indeed
@jamesasc7709 No Google needed. I saw them on tour for that album in 2008...was a great show!
@@TheRoomfull Some people live under a rock and some are real fans

What a perfect combination ❤️
Is T Bone Burnett still playing with them?
Both Godly people and massive white hats ❤
Thank God (not the Golden one), Krauss is patient.
Halfway through - fucking great.
The Plant still has it! What an awesome dude. I’d love to shake his hand and thank him.
❤️🦋🌈😘💕☀️🌙⭐️
Beautiful.
That mandolin player needs an energy drink.
For someone who doesn't like led zeppelin, he sure does a lot of lz tunes
Well, he did write almost all of it.
I’ve not heard him say he doesn’t like Led Zeppelin.
He’s much more forthcoming about the band these days, and he’s proud of what they accomplished and what they were. He’s just not the same guy he was almost fifty years ago.

Plant tiene una voz magnífica!!
Alison también por supuesto, pero Robert es muy mayor y con demasiado vivido!!
Get rid of Krauss and bring back Skin Tyson
Alison needs to eat a few of Robert's cheeseburgers.
Not familiar with this tune, reminds me of Jefferson Airplane , in a good way.
Plant without question had one of the greatest voices ever but he's gradually been losing it
False.
Ummm….maybe because he’s in his seventies and not early twenties when he wrote this….sheesh. Still amazing.
If mandolin had some balls and this was a little more dynamic it would've been almost as good as their 1971 original.
He's not doing a Zeppelin version. It's a new 2024 take on the song.
Google the word reinterpretation.
@@TheRoomfull Google the word 'sucks'. Usually reinterpretations are exciting. This is sludge. If you don't agree I question your taste. 🎬
@cuda426hemi Says the clown very obviously in the minority....your taste is shit.

The Golden God now is an atheist.
Please retire Robert
I like her solo work but this......doesn't work......
Ann Wilson would be the perfect singing partner with Plant. No offence but not a fan of this duet at all. They dont mix well for me.
I like them but I think Ann would be PERFECT!
