Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto (月読命) is the moon god of Shinto. Though nowadays Tsukuyomi is said to be male, in ancient chronicles such as Kojiki, their gender is not mentioned. Tsukuyomi is the younger sibling of Amaterasu-Ōmikami (天照大御神), the sun goddess, and the older sibling of Susanoo-no-Mikoto (須佐之男命).
The song ends with the lyrics about sunlight shining into a dark room at 5:00 AM and the actual time the sun rises in Tokyo at 5:00 AM is around August 15 or April 22. The tournament in the novel where Mitsuki and Reina fight and make up took place in July, and the closest sunrise time to 5 a.m. in July is 4:48 a.m. on the 31st.
