DG used to (maybe still does) sell those placemats and they're wonderful! Buy a couple of the same ones, sew the edges together and stuff them and make GORGEOUS fall or holiday pillows for your sofa, chairs, beds, wherever!! I have so many!! I have some ornaments that are 70 years old or older. They were from both my and my husband's childhood (he's 77, I'm 72). Rather than put them on a tree, I had them put onto a wreath. Love it. We need more Vivian videos!!

I have the first ornaments that my grandmother and Great grandmother bought me in 1987 when I moved into my first house. Some of my ornaments are 32 years old from when my daughter was born. I have some really old ornaments.

Most stores out there make a hundred percent profit off of what they're selling you. The security camera from Dollar tree probably only cost about a quarter to make it. Dollar tree's going to sell it to you for a $1.25, so they're still making at least a whole dollar off it. The sad part is if you went anywhere else to Walmart or Target they would charge you at least $5.99 The reason why the stores do this is because they have to make their money. You're paying for the shipping, the utility bills, the toilet, and for the good old shoplifter that likes coming to come ito the store. Call me crazy but I don't feel like it's necessary that I have to pay for a shoplifter coming into the store because the stores will not prosecute them. Not sure how it is in other states but in California they have to steal at least $700 or $1,000 depending on the store to be able to be prosecuted for shoplifting. 😡😡😡 And I both makes me mad and sick at the same. Since when it becomes acceptable in a society where we live in that people can just take whatever they want and then you have to fork over money for them to do it. It's backwards thinking of you ask me and then if I ever go on jury duty on prosecuting a shop lifter. So the bottom line is don't let me on jury duty because I'll prosecute people who are thieves.

I love your energy! I haven't been to a Dollar Tree in a long time because I felt it wasn't good for me. I started to think about needs v wants and how much trash is created from buying so much stuff that's not necessary. Sit the cameras on a table or dresser top pointing OUTWARD through your window. A neighbor of mine does that ( due to skulking neighbors who may have had a key from a tenant before her-BOOM those flashing red lights pointing out her back bedroom window in the back lawn of her bulding REALLY helped.

I literally make the special trip to Dollar Tree every fall to get them as soon as they are available. I got a complete nativity set ten years ago, except for the donkey:( for $10.

I use the holiday candles that come in jars such as Golden Apple Cider and French Toast with Pumpkin. They smell wonderful. I don't light them. Instead I use a candle warmer. My whole house smells great and they last a long time. I have had the Cranberry Vanilla candle for almost a year.

Vivian, I found a gold letter sorter triangle (a new product) in the school section of DT. Then E6000 glued it to a DT small unfinished wood board that I had dark stained. It sits on my entry table, ready to put in coming or out going mail for the family. I bought an extra triangle for my office desk to put a couple of file folders. Thanks for all you do. Wepa 🇵🇷
