    If you're going through all the trouble of bubble wrapping everything to protect it then why would you leave the bars against the frame? That's more likely to cause damage than the linkages against the frame....

      Alfredo Bossi I doubt it would fit 29er wheels

    I think the long padding at the bottom that has no use in this video is supposed to be on top of the rear axle block, and the velcro strap on top of that. That way it actually secures the rear end to the bag. ;)

      The CRC site has a photo of a Nukeproof DH bike in it, so I guess a Demo would fit

    Would advise not compressing your hydraulic seat post as the cabin pressure cause increased pressure on the hydraulic internals and destroy your seals. Also have heard about taking pressure out of your shocks, I have never done it and no issues.

    CRC bag using small wheel base, and thats bad. Evoc more stable in motion

    • @Stalkerfiveo
      @Stalkerfiveo 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      For an extra 300$ you get a wider wheelbase.............LOL. I'd rather spend 15 minutes in the workshop and 15$ at Ace hardware widening the wheelbase.

      Its yellow but I'm not sure if it's a rim strip or tape. Least I don't need to put them below 26 psi (the minimum pressure)

    Will the CRC bag take a downhill frame as I have always planned on going on holiday but never can find a bike bad that will hold a downhill frame with out being so pricy

    • @bikeradar
      @bikeradar  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rowan holmes If you have a look at the bag on CRC, there's a picture of a Nukeproof Pulse fitting in. No idea what size it was though.

    • @Catcrumbs
      @Catcrumbs 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Rowan holmes Let the air out/take the spring out of your fork and compress it and you should be able to fit the bike in most bags comfortably.

    • @rom4mainia
      @rom4mainia 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      i have sping suspension as its only the low range boxxers so cant do that and i have the nuke proof scalp in small bit it is a large size bike compared to most mountain bikes

    The start of the Mountain of Hell in Les Deux Alpes is at 3200 m and nobody lets the air of their shocks for the chairlift up. The maximum cabin pressure altitude of commercial airliners is 2400 m.

    • @bikeradar
      @bikeradar  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Catcrumbs Like we said: we don't believe it's necessary, but some airlines will insist.

    • @nikolajandersen2354
      @nikolajandersen2354 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Catcrumbs the maximum cabin pressure is only relevant of you bring the bike into the cabin. Luggage goes into cargo which is a differnt pressure I wonder.

    • @bensblues
      @bensblues 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      you arent taking the bike in the cabin though are you. its going in the depressurised hold.

    • @henrydover7752

      If the aircraft suffers depressurisation, things will change dramatically, and your shock will go POP, making a bad situation worse.
