They remind us of going on summer vacation and going on family trips and the only stresses we had was a summer reading list and maybe a science project or two. The High School Musical movies were OUR films. They were made for us and no one shamed us for it. We were kids and they were the biggest film event of our childhood. We felt heard and noticed when HSM3 was in theaters because something we loved and grew up on was going to the big screen. Troy and Gabriela were our first real exposure to a sweeping romance and their relationship set a standard that we all, even till this day, hope to have one day. They were kindred spirits and fell in love with each other as they fell in love with themselves and who they really were inside. The films give you a sense of adventure. It's like a fairytale. Don't let go of that little kid inside you and don't let go of these movies and the impact they had on us all

They basically forced him to choose between singing or playing the game. Plus, he was too worried about living his life through his father’s dreams & making him happy. These 2 were my OTP.
my two favorite things about this series is troy and gabriella's relationship how they are pretty much a yin and yang, and the growth that ryan goes through how he goes from tag along in 1 to solid wild cat in 3
